THIEFS CAUGHT SKIMMING CHANGE MICHELLE PATTERSON AND MANAGER.
I know that the Habit has great food. I eat at other locations. And the food is to die for. Unfortunately at this location seems to be run by high school students as a summer job. I ordered a double Portobello Charburger. And received a portabella Charburger with an additional Patty. When I receive my order I said this is not exactly what I ordered but I'll eat it anyways no big deal. And that's when things took an unexpected twist. Michelle proceeded to argue with me and tell me that that is exactly what I ordered. I said no I ordered a double Portobello. I said if I was to order a double Charburger it would have double toppings cheese on top of each pattie right? I ordered a double Portobello so therefore I was expecting double toppings as well. Then she proceeded to explain to me that there's no such thing. I said I don't care charge me for two of them if you can't figure out how to ring it up. and take the buns off of one of them if you have to.(I am usually billed for an additional Patty and additional toppings so it is doable.) And she proceeded to tell me what I was trying to order which confused me because I know what I wanted, but I could not convince her but there was a way to ring up what I wanted. Nor could she even conceived that it was possible to have two patties with toppings on top of each other. I actually ended up returning my food for refund over this. And when given my refund it seemed a little short so I asked to see the original receipt and she refused to let me see it told me that I could not that she would print me another one but absolutely would not let me see the original receipt. I said to her you should be careful you could get fired over this. And the girl next to her wearing the blue shirt said oh no she's not going to get fired I'm her boss. (Cool somebody just out of high school managing high school students what could possibly go wrong.) What reason would an individual do this other than immaturity or short change. I'll pay ten $15 for a good burger no problem. But not at this location while school is on summer vacation I don't want to deal with high school students and their drama. Went to Jack In The Box for a $2 burger. Decided to spend the remaining money on a nice steak to make at home. I will never know if I was given the correct money back. So as long as you don't have an order that is custom you're going to have a great time. But don't expect any Thinking Beyond what the menu can provide and you will not be disappointed.
Just checked my bank account to see what I was charged. I was charged $12.35 for my order and I was refunded $10.05 by a girl named Michelle Patterson. Makes sense why she would refuse to run my card for the refund and insisted on a cash refund nor show my receipt. Can't steel from people with out cash in hand right. I wonder how many other people she has done this to.
And I thought they were just immature. Boy was I wrong. Not worth getting the police involved. Although well deserved if I did. Guess some hanbits die hard.
Can't call refunding me for someone else's order and pocketing $2.30 an accident when you refuse to show orginal receipt. Of course a reprint will show $10.05 refunded as last transaction.
Giving less than correct value and collecting your loot at the end of the day when you close out the drawer is not a new trick. She got caught this time and probably won't repeat the same mistake. But the real question is what's next. And this is how embezzling starts. Beware employers.
All I can say guys is if you pay with cash at this spot check your receipt and count your change! might be getting...
Read moreI don't eat red meat but I do really appreciate the variety of alternative options.
First, there's a more traditional veggie burger, impossible burger, and ahi tuna filet (all great options that provide something for everyoneâfor that matter, even the red meat options are plentiful with different styles of burgers). In other words, The Habit Burger Grill does an amazing job catering to people with different diets and eating habits and restrictions. Sure, you can typically make special requests at many other restaurants, but here you don't need to nearly as much. Having a wider variety of options makes it easier.
Second, there's a great selection of sides and snacks besides french fries, such as onion rings and tempura green beans, and my favorite, sweet potato fries.
Third, they have succulent thick milkshakes of many flavors, such as the standard vanilla, chocolate and strawberryâalso mocha and coffee (just tried that one and it was incredible, the thickness, texture, and flavor were in the goldilocks zoneâjust perfect), as well as a new mango flavor. And they do have a soft-serve cone for less than a buck-fifty, if you're craving a sweet treat and need to watch those calories, stick to a budget, or bothâtotally understandable!
Lastly, the prices overall are quite reasonable for the quality you get, which I would rate higher than all of the other burger chains (at least the ones I've triedâonly Nation's comes close in my book), especially given the excellent variety of menu items!
There may be a short to moderate wait to get your food, but it's always worth the wait when you get food you enjoy immensely and don't get the heartburn that the subpar chains might very well give youâyou know who you are! Thankfully, Habit always fully satisfiesâvisiting their restaurants feels like a memorable experience that no one else can imitate. And I very much appreciate the lengths Habit goes through to make it a habit to visit more often!
The service, quality, and ambiance are all top tier! I hope you keep bringing the joy, satisfaction, and happiness to your guests for...
Read moreI'm a very clean eater. My only "cheat if you will" is the occasional habit lettuce wrap grilled chicken or burger, along with an order of sweet potato fries. Well, this place got ruined my appetite for this place, not that losing one customer matters, but here goes. They got my order wrong, accused me of trying to rip them off for a milk- shake, and then, when I addressed it, instead of apologizing they justified it. What happened? I'd purchased my husband a Hershey chocolate milk-shake, along with the other items for us both. We'll, upon pickup, no shake. I addressed it, he tells me I didn't get charged for it, as it wasn't reflected on my receipt, which I always keep. He was right, but I watched her ring it up. The manager's response; who actually took my order, walked over to the other cashier/server, while addressing us both states I had paid for it, but they now don't show up on the receipt. It was so ridiculous, I just rolled mine eyes, & got my drink. My food; they'd placed cheese on my lettuce wrap, which I specifically stated I did not want, and missed that she's charged me for such. Then, when I informed them they gave me a look like is, again, done something wrong, but aren't : I could go...
