I seem to always have a bad experience at this specific McDonald's on Main Street but this horrible experience tops them all.
I go to the drive-thru at speaker number 2, to provide my mobile order. I sit and wait for 2 minutes (mean while there is no line to my surprise) while watching someone else pull up to speaker number 1 to place an order, 2 minutes after i pulled to the drive thru. The person at speaker number 1 orders and pulls to the first window while I'm still waiting to provide my mobile order number. After sitting im the drive-thru speaker, now 5 minutes, a young lady ask do I have a mobile order. I provide my moblie order number and then proceed to the 1st window and now behind the car that was at the 1st speaker. After the car at the first window drive thru gives there money and then pulls to the 2nd window, I pull up and see no one is there so I can obtain my receipt. I wait 2 minutes for someone to come to the first window but now comes but I can also see employees walking around. Now frustrated, I pull to the 2nd window and no one is at that window to provide any service. I see a young Caucasian male and I proceed to knock on the glass window so I can be acknowledged. The young Caucasian opens the glass window and I then release the frustration of me waiting so long at the drive-thru speaker and the first window at him. The young Caucasian then tells me he is on break and doesn't know why I was waiting so long. After listening to me, the young Caucasian then calls a young ladies name, Sidel. Me not giving the lady time to ask what my problem was I let her know my issue. The young lady now asking if I have a mobile order and I respond yes and point at the McDonaldland Milk shake. As I release more frustration of my wait time at Sidel, a manager comes to the 2nd window to see what was the problem. I then tell the manager and he then ask, where did this happen. Now screaming at the manager my problem, he points at Sidel and says that is her window and then walks awaynot assisting with resolving my problem. Sidel now the only one at the window tells me that I should pull up to wait for my food. Now even more frustrated because what was the point of placing my mobile order if I now have to wait another 5 minutes for my food. As I pull up to wait, my window is down and I hear a loud laugh from Sidel. Now I'm confused and frustrated as to what is so funny.
Why continue to hire incompetent people that have no real training in customer service and not understanding the value of the customers time. I am a manager and I train employees to understand the importance of Great customer service, quality over quantity. Training for customer service should be done quarterly at McDonald's, making sure customers are satisfied.
Now a customer is lost because of the incompetence of employees and managers not understanding the importance of customer service.
Oh and to add, I have wasted money at this McDonald's because they always leave out food that...
Read moreSuper busy during rush hour, dinner time, and around lunch during the week but as far as going to this location late night, there may not be a single car in the drive thru, and the wait time will still be 20-25 minutes. I try to avoid this location simply because when I order from this McDonalds (delivery through a third-party or on the app to pick up in the drive thru or lobby), it is my opinion that the food is hardly ever fresh. Most of the time, when I order delivery from McDonalds, it is super late at night/early in the morning because nothing else is open or offering delivery at that time. I still don't get why the menu will say that something is available that ends up missing from my order. Why the menu cannot accommodate the restaurants ability to fulfil certain menu items during certain times is beyond me. When I have items missing and take it up with the restaurant or with the delivery service (which I feel bad about, because it honestly has nothing to do with them), the answer that seems to be universally accepted is that they are not making it during the hours from whatever-whatever (usually, the item is either a milkshake, an apple pie, or some type of coffee drink). However, if I order the same item from a different McDonalds location around the same time the following week, I receive my full order without an issue. This is especially true if, when I AM missing the item, I do not interact with anyone at the restaurant- meaning they don't actually have to face me, so why bother going out of their way to make something that takes a bit more effort than simply throwing a few pre-made things in a bag? (Usually, as I said, when I place a delivery order through a third-party app, like Uber Eats or GrubHub,). When I am in the drive-thru or picking up my order inside the lobby, even if this particular item isn't hot-n'-ready, the employee's often seem to find a way to make it happen-at least, a bit more frequently. Hey, I am not angry. In fact, I 100% understand. If it was 3AM and I was told to make milkshakes all night after dealing with noisy crowds and repetitious order-filling, I would most likely be over it, too. I simply wish the menu would reflect the items that I am able to receive and end up paying for, one...
Read moreAbsolutely HORRIBLE!! The worst experience ever!!! On Friday May 17th 2019, I visited McDonald's on 233 East Main Street Apopka Florida 32703 store #2190 at 11:05 am. I had an Uber Eats order as I am an Uber Eats driver and I was doing a regular everyday routine McDonald's delivery order pickup! This was my second time at this location and what I normally do is park near the door so I can run in and grab my order which is usually ready 95% of times. Its just pick up the order and be in and out! Today was no difference except I had stopped to use the restroom to urinate! As I came out to restroom, the self proclaimed General Manager who's names is RESHMA who appears to be of indian descent was in the lobby asking whose car was parked in front of the door!? I proceeded to say it was mines when all of a sudden she started raising her voice in a very hostile, very loud manner yelling at me in front of customers and employees!!! Everyone was looking at me staring at me, I felt embarrassed I got really angry but I did not get out of character because I was being professional as I was working ubereats, which I treat like a job! I then proceeded to ask her, could you please lower your tone? She refused to lower her tone and said no and continued yelling! I then told her I was with Uber Eats and she replied saying "Especially Uber Eats Drivers" should not be doing that and she proceeded to continue yelling at me in a very loud and hostile manner!! At that point I felt like I wanted to react negatively but I did not however!! I just left the food, cancelled the order, called and reported to Uber Eats about the incident that happened. BEHAVIOUR like this was absolutely uncalled for! I felt really embarrassed it was really horrible to have all these people staring at me as REHSMA General Manager was yelling and belittling me! I can even see others laughing at me in the back who was looking on! It was a very horrible experience and I never want to go back to that store and deal with the General Manager RESHMA!! STAYY AWAYYYYYY! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...
