Denny's — Restaurant in Apple Valley

Dear Patrons of Denny's, I just wanted to write a review of our recent experience at the Denny's on outer hwy 18 in apple valley. Last night on September 2nd 2017. My wife, My sister in law and Myself were dining at the restaurant and we had decent service. Well I went to the restroom to wash my hands as I have always, and once in there I noticed one of their cooks going into the stall and he was having a Bowel Movement, this was VERY evident by the noises this man was making and his apron hanging on the stall door.. Minding my own i proceeded to attempt to wash my hands and the soap dispenser was one of those lovely "auto-soap dispensers" that always have issues. I tried on many attempts to see if the machine would work and it still did not.. I washed my hands with my hand sanitizer and water and hand sanitizer again. I know some of you may say "oh you're so about germs don't know you know that doesn't work!?" and YES it does I have been in the medical field for 10 years and have taught hand sanitation techniques. GOOGLE IT. Anyways I then go to the staff and let them know that the dispenser is not working and they said they would "take care" of it. I waited and watched to see if the staff would go while this man was in the stall and yet 10 minutes passes by the man leaves the bathroom and still nothing. The cook appeared to have not washed his hands. I say this because he was staring at his phone and he walked right past us and he didn't even appear to have even his hands WET from ANY substance. Our food had already arrived and We TRUSTED that everything would be okay and that this cook would be responsible enough to wash his hands or even let his superiors know that that machine was not working. By the way there IS in fact a lovely sign in the restroom that states "All working Staff MUST wash their hands prior to exiting the restroom". We finished eating and went home for the night, believing everything would be okay.. Well not even 2 hours after eating we ALL had the same symptoms. 1. dysentery 2. Nausea 3. Vomiting. WE had an absolutely terrible night. After a very long night, my wife calls the restaurant to let them know and a very rude man basically tells her off and she is simply letting them know that what happened and hoping that maybe there would be even a glimmer of caring.. and no there wasn't. We spent $58 there and left a 5% tip to our waitress.. we were not expecting anything in return from this man or let alone the restaurant but we were at least expecting to hear him be a...

Update I still go to this location and I still am very happy with the service and the quality of food however today I learned that they do not participate in any of the Denny's rewards or discounts offered through the Denny's app. This is a bummer because now I have to go to another location to participate in the programme which is definitely motivating because you get quite a good amount of discounts.

This is my favorite Denny's in the high desert and probably in Southern California. I always get excellent service and today was no exception. Our server was a lovely lady named Bibi And she was a very good waitress with a charming personality. I like the cooks at this Denny's because they accommodate special requests and they do a very good job. The owner or manager I'm not sure which he is, is usually there And he's a very friendly gentleman who is usually smiling. It's very refreshing to go into a business and find the staff and the management pleasant and smiling. It makes the whole experience so much better and I do...

Went there after a firework show at the maverick stadium. Resturant had a good amount of people in it for midnight. Got seated after waiting a little bit. There was only one waitress. She was doing the best she could, well she seemed busy with the drink machine or cups, or something.

She returns to deliver another table drinks and finally take our drink orders. Refuses to take our food order.

So far it's been around 10 to 15 minutes. The table next to us ask us the time (they still haven't ordered, waiting for the right to get to order). 12:15... the woman's face just drops, they had been there since a little before 11:40. The mother/wife of another table gets up, goes and gets her salad and children's drinks.
