If I could give negative stars I would. This store is not following Covid restrictions. I had to purchase masks and picked up a couple of items on my way out today. I was being rung up where they do exchanges they opened the register next to me. I look over and the two women aren’t wearing their masks correctly. I have 3 children with me which unfortunately I can’t leave with anyone, 3 yrs, 2 yrs and 2 months. They can’t wear masks so I have to count on and have faith in business to follow guidelines. When it was time to pay the cashier asked me to swipe my card I tried to hand her my card, and she wouldn’t take it, which meant I would be bumping elbows with the women next to me. When I expressed my concerns the cashier totally disregarded and disrespectfully ignored me. I almost had an anxiety attack. I leave about to cry I come home and call Ross and spoke to a women claiming to be a Manager. In few words she said her job was controlling her lines and to get everyone out and not my kids safety. She said she can’t force people to wear a mask which I understand but one thing she can control is opening the register next to us. She said her line control is more important. Literally her own words. Totally dissatisfied and disappointed. I’ve worked customer service my whole life and had never come across such a disgraceful response. If you care about your safety and family’s safety shop somewhere else. I will also be...
Read moreIf you are a proud African American do not shop here. I am disgusted by the way I was treated when I came into this store. I’m a 6’1 180lbs black guy. Lets start with that. The minute i walked into the store I watched the cashier reach for her radio (I knew what it meant). I minded my business. My reason for being in the store was to get something from my wife’s car. I left with her keys, went to do what I needed and came back to return my wife’s keys. The second time I walked back in the store, the same lady immediately reached for her radio and proceeded to follow me around the store. I’m simply bringing my wife back her keys. By the time I get to my wife I noticed there are 4 other workers watching me as if I’m about to steal. I give my wife her keys and leave. Note to staff: WOULD YOU TREAT ME THIS WAY IF YOU KNEW I WAS A VETERAN THATS ACTUALLY FOUGHT FOR THE COUNTRY THAT YOU’VE CHOSEN TO STILL POLLUTE WITH RACISM AND BLATANT DISRESPECT IN 2024? RACIALLY PROFILING A SALES ASSOCIATE’S HUSBAND FOR SIMPLY BEING BLACK IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND EMBARRASSING TO MY WIFE. NOT EVERY BLACK PERSON IS A THIEF. YOU ALL DISGUST ME. -US Army...
Read moreThis Ross store sits next to Target and across from what appears to be one of the nation's oldest Walmart stores. But that's a separate rating altogether. Back to Ross and how it rates. This Ross store's merchandise selection is average to pretty good and it is conveniently located next to several other businesses and placed to eat. It's clean and safe and not too busy. Where this Ross stands out and really shines is in the area of customer service. Probably attributed to excellent management but in any case the employees are consistently friendly, very helpful and on the ball at the registers. This is a rare phenomenon within the Ross chain and it's what makes this particular location a positive shopping...
