Retro Bowl AV — Local services in Apple Valley

I have been to a few bowling alley's and this one is my favorite, the employees are nice, professional, always willing to fix any issue the only issue we ever had was with the cotton candy machine and the employees working at the time immediately restarted the machine so my grandson and granddaughter could have their cotton candy 😋. The place is very clean and Joseph (I hope I got his name right) is such a great guy he doesn't allow you to tip him like that's crazy who doesn't want the extra money 🤑 he goes above and beyond his work duties and expects nothing in return not even tips! I highly recommend this place even the people that go there are nice they don't try to start fights at least not the times we've been there, we have had a great time here and since they don't have a kitchen at the moment I was told by an employee that you can take your own food even home made food but you have to take your own plates and utensils cause they don't provide them, this will only be allowed till they open their kitchen I think it's awesome of them to allow us to bring in food specially when you build up an...

For starters to give context, I’m a league bowler, fairly new to the sport, but bowl pretty consistently. We came with a group of league bowlers, 16 people across four lanes.

Pros: lanes seemed adequately oiled. Ball return is fast. Despite it being dark “cosmic bowling” conditions, you could see the lane marks. The lanes/ball returns seem reasonably clean. My hands look like I’m a mechanic after three games across town and they’re still pretty clean in the middle of game three here. We didn’t have many scoring issues.

Cons: if there’s a scoring issue, you have to have the front desk fix it. Pretty minor as these things go!!!

I’ll come back. For sure. I’m really grateful to have playable lanes in Apple Valley, and I genuinely believe this place will be great. I bowled here as a kid in the 90s and would love for it to become a regular haunt for me, now that I’m an adult.

Took my Grandson bowling today and we had a great time. Tony the owner was there and was very polite and his customer service was on point. Also the worker at the front desk was very polite. The Retro bowling alley was very clean and the vibe was perfect. There was a big selection of bowling balls of all weights and finger sizes for all ages. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. There is a vending machine with plenty of drinks and also a good selection of beers as well.We loved all the big screen protectors and tv's It definitely shows that Tony is turning this place around and all the positive 5 star reviews definitely proves that as well . We will definitely be returning soon for another day of family fun. Keep up the good work...
