Los Alazanes Mexican Food — Restaurant in Apple Valley

We've only got the food to go a couple of times and it was decent but I would say middle of the road. The quesadilla was very large in the meat and cheese inside was good. But now the second time I ordered the fajitas and my friend got the flying saucer. We didn't check the bag and went to Target to get a couple things I've had known the tortillas were missing what about some there. Fajitas are weird to eat without tortillas cuz you have to load it up I asked for sour cream and pico de gallo. Which is usually on the side with fajitas cuz you load up the tortilla with the dice bell peppers onions and the beef. They put the sour cream and pico de gallo on one spot on the fajitas which sinks in to the chopped up meat and onions so even if I have the tortillas how would I get the pico de gallo off the meat to make a tortilla with a little bit of everything. And it came with rice and beans which fajitas never do. The meat and the onions and the fajitas are so chopped up in little tiny pieces it looks like pico de gallo I can't tell the difference. So even if I receive my tortillas which they asked corner flour I would have still been disappointed with this meal. maybe they think chopped out little pieces cook faster but I don't mind waiting for something that is more like real fajitas. I called and all they said was I'm sorry they didn't say come back and get your tortillas or get some the next day or any offer of anything. And I called because I thought maybe the fajitas were sitting on top of the tortillas but there's nothing in the box. But again why would the sour cream and pico de gallo be just spooned on top. For supposedly an authentic Mexican restaurant they don't know how to make them. So I'm just eating the fajitas with a fork but even with the fork I can't get the sour cream and the pico de gallo spread around the fajitas cuz it's sinking into the one spot? Who does that. Sour cream and pico de gallo is always on the side with fajitas. What is the chocolate little pieces of meat that I can't find within the bell peppers and onions. It's like the fajias are pico de gallo too? I'm 70 years old and I've eaten fajitas for years and never seen...

For my 1st time eating here it was okay. The dining area was clean. Nice size family tables. I would have gave 5 stars, but I wasn't happy with there enchiladas with the shredded beef. I'll Stick with the chicken enchiladas or the asada enchiladas, but NEVER the shredded beef again. My food was a watery from the juice in shredded beef and the shredded lettuce all over enchiladas. Next time I'll ask for them without lettuce/shre-beef. The customer services was good as be expected. The staff appeared friendly. This place has only been open 2 months. I expect better eating experience in the near future.

January 7th 2022 I ordered The nachos with Lengua Which a so good here. Which. Have had in the past. I was about to eat my food, but noticed the lengua’s was not prepared correctly for it still had the outer lining of the tongue that is supposed to be peeled off after cooking. So basically you could see all the bumps and textures of the cows tongue. Not very appetizing to chew on the outer lining which is like rubber. I requested to have something else but was greeted with an attitude, as I was told that that’s how it’s prepared. I then went into detail with the manager I assume about the Lengua. I was offered something else after I proved my point and knowledge of how to cook the meal in question. And from the looks I was given I probably would’ve dropped dead lol. Sorry, not sorry! I’m assuming they have someone new preparing the food that is still learning...

The food os good, but their customer service is horrible. Their restaurant has literally stolen about six dollars from my bank account. I will post proof. I made a purchase the day the store opened using my debit card. The burrito was $7.11 after tax, and $7.86 after the 75¢ fee for using my credit card. This was not what was deducted from my account. Intsead, they took $9.36. The next time I went, I got the same burrito, and they charged me $11 and some change. Same thing happened again for a third time, I brought them proof. They act like I'm trying to rip them off, when their machine or company is the one ripping me off. I have tried to resolve this problem with them, but now I am sharing my experience. Bottom line, keep your reciept and check your bank account about 3 days after your purchase. It seems like they are adding a tip. It shows up in my account like a regular purchase for the accurate amount the day of my purchase, then the next business day gets adjusted to reflect the amount of the tip that they added.
