Extremely overpriced for the portions you get.

Ordered a 10" pizza for carryout. I ordered it well done, and it was far from well done, just barely cooked enough. all the cheese was still very white, and not semi-browned like a well done pizza should be or look. The crust was also still a little soggy in the middle. I even tipped the cooks as I always do at every type of restaurant I order take out/carryout from. The last time I ordered a pizza "well done" from this location I also got in the same way. Not cooked "well done" at all. The pizza and quality was decent, but please.... make the pizza's actually well done when they are ordered as such. Especially when people tip for cooking/carryout service.

I would have given this review a 3 star for that as the pizza still tasted good overall, but what really made me give this review a 1 star though, was the fact that I also ordered an order of wings for $12. The website does not state how many wings you do get, but I assumed at least 8 for about $12 like other comparable restaurants around the area.

I received 5 normal sized chicken wings for $12. This is absolutely laughable. I can go across town and order a normal size order of bone-in wings(same size and quality wings) at Carbones, a pizza joint that has comparable food quality and prices, and get about 8-10 wings for $10, plus a side of dressing and celery on the side.

I will most likely not be ordering from here again. Sorry but these...

First off, I want to say this review is not a reflection of the service. The server was kind and attentive when ordering. I just cant believe what happened to the pizza. First time I tasted Red's Savoy, was at the original pizza Joint in Saint Paul. Wow, it was the best pizza I have ever tasted in Minnesota by far. Then their was a Red's Savoy in EP. I could tell right away It was not the same, but the amount of cheese and toppings was generous and the flavor was still better than any chain pizza joint around. I had no problem paying more for it. It was worth it. Fast forward to today. Almost $25 for a large two topping Pizza that is missing at least half of the cheese and toppings from before and the taste sub par from before. For me, I am done. I rather...

Called and ordered pizza for delivery at 5:18pm, told 30-45 min for delivery. Called at 6:18pm for status on pizza. Was told it was on the way. Promised it would be there within 10 min. I said I would call back if it wasn't. 6:32 I called and said its not here. Was told it wasn't in the store and it's on its way. I asked for a discount, he said he'd give me a $10 credit. 6:40 pizza arrived cold and burnt. I called and asked they make it right. They offered replacement or store credit. I asked for my card to be refunded. After checking with the supervisor, I was told they would do that. Great. Hung up and ate cold burnt pizza because we were starving. It was also super salty. Not at all what we hoped for for a very rare ordering of...

I actually REALLY LIKE the Pizza here. Tastes way better than the usual large chain pizza places. I did try the buffalo wings which I did not like (reason I gave 4 stars). The location was very clean and good service. The pizza was fresh, hot and made correctly. I will order again and already have several times. UPDATE: I removed one star. The reason I removed one star is for an odd reason. When you get additional toppings like Black Olives or Jalapeno's they add SO MUCH that I don't like the pizza, it is literally TOO MUCH additional toppings. I still like the Pizza but now I order it "light" on the additional toppings then it seems to come out OK.

GLUTEN FREE CRUST IS AMAZING! First off, what in the world is going on with these bad reviews. I grew up eating the original savoys at 421 E. Seventh St., “Red’s” place. My wife has a gluten allergy and I was so sad to think I would have to give up the original crust but holy moly! This gluten free crust is by far the best pizza crust I’ve ever had! Furthermore, the staff at the Apple Valley location are always friendly and talk about fast service! I don’t think many people realize how this pizza is supposed to be and thus have different expectations. This is how a savoy pizza should look and taste! This is my new 7th street savoys!
