China Garden — Restaurant in Appleton

I don't know if it is because of location and where it is at, but some of the worst Asian food I have ever experienced in my life. Jumbo fried shrimp are medium butterflies shrimp to make it look Jumbo then over breaded and over fried, Black Pepper Chicken was like old breaded chicken cut up into very tiny pieces and over fried until the are hard bits. Never had Black Pepper Chicken that was breaded before, at least not when I spent time in Asia. Plus, they were just tiny bits, not even small pieces of chicken.The owner told me her customers like it that way. Can't speak for that, but not surprised if this has been the type of food they have been exposed to. This Place Makes Pandalooksk like Gourmet Asian, which is nearly impossible to do. The egg rolls were half the size of what you would expect, with heavy skins. They also do not include sweet and sour sauce or any dipping sauce. My partner ordered beef with spicy sauce. I was delivering next door at the tractor supply. Walked over to China garden I was welcomed by a young woman at the front desk. She was polite and patient gave me a chance to look over the menu. I ordered the triple In garlic sauce. (A16) to go.
