This place has incredible coffee. The drinks are adventurous, smooth, and well worth the trip. After tasting their coffee I realized that I had never enjoyed a truly well balanced cup of joe. Every sip shows the effort that they put into their craft. The service is always welcoming and they are more than willing to tweak drinks for personal taste or make recommendations. The ambiance is great and the WiFi is fast so it’s the perfect place for working or studying. They have gender neutral bathrooms and inclusive signage around the shop. 🌈🏳️‍⚧️💕

My wife enjoys more classic flavors and some of our trips are hit or miss with her because you can’t get a typical sweet vanilla latte. I enjoy the twist on every drink, but I think they might benefit from having an ultra basic option without bitters. They have a sweet latte, but it isn’t to her liking. That said, a few of the drinks that she’s gotten have been “the best coffee ever.”

This place is a must try. Make sure you go seasonally (Let’s get real. Go weekly. At least.) to try their changing menus! Bonus tip: their mascorpone toast with wild blueberries is perfection and worth...

The service is great. The man taking my order was very friendly and even conversational. The order didn't take too long to come. The atmosphere is also nice. Some smooth jazz was playing and it's right on the river with open windows and spacious seating. The aesthetic is also beautiful with a very earthy vibe going on. My main issues are that: the menu is insanely limited. They only had one flavor which was brown sugar clove, almost all of their drinks had bitters in them and as someone who doesn't drink, I couldn't choose any of them and it was very confusing to understand. The latte was not good. It was sort of sour and tasted slightly off, Plus it had no flavor in it, only sweetener because I did not want the one flavor they had. Also, less than halfway through drinking it, I got a stomach ache and a headache which I did not have prior to drinking the coffee. Coffee Wizards was supposed to be a stop on the Appleton Café walk. We made it to Coffee Wizards hours before the end of the event and was told rudely that they were out of samples. How can you be out of samples for a limited ticket event? If you run out, make something else and don’t be rude about it. I’m really disappointed and it’s making me question ever coming back. We spoke with others participating in the walk and they also expressed their disappointment. It ruined my café walk experience. How can I pay for a sample and not receive it??? This didn’t happen at any other stop...
