Edit: This is a follow-up to my first review which was made six years ago when Tandem was new and in another location.
Since that time, I’ve returned three or four times to explore their selection. I received exceptionally poor customer service every one of those times. I once requested a bottle to be ordered and was told I would be called with a status update. I never received a call, when I contacted them to check up weeks later they had no record of my request. Another time, when I noted that the price of a bottle was significantly higher than what’s available elsewhere, I was met with a scoff and denial. A simple “I’ll look into it,” would have been preferable.

Read moreTandem is on the expensive side, but this place is great if you’re looking for a cool, laid back but nice, clean place to have a drink and chat with a friend. The owner is willing to let you try something before you buy a bottle and happy to help you find something you’ll love. He lets you bring food into his place, since he doesn’t have any snacks there. Read moreThis place seems like it's maybe trying too hard. They don't have much in the way of food -- primarily just a charcuterie board. It was good, but overpriced, like the beers and wines. They have specials, but it felt like the bartender was just making them up on the spot, and there's no real communication or direction if you're unfamiliar with the place. The atmosphere is like a redecorated warehouse, with repurposed art and furniture scattered about.
