My wife and I have been waiting for an opportunity to come down from GB to visit Bowl 91, and it was very much worth the drive down! Wow, they have some delicious food... It's definitely a fusion of asian flavors, and while not being authentic with any one thing, what we had was quite awesome. We started with the lemongrass chicken tacos, which were very tasty. I would love to see an option of having these in a lettuce wraps, but the corn tortillas were quite nice. The addition of the pickled veggies with jalapenos gave it an almost banh mi taste. Next we had a few eggrolls, Hmong style (our favorite), which were as good as any I've had in the area. I then had the tum yum yummy, as I love Tom Yum soup, and I was extremely impressed! Nice spice, lovely flavor, tasty meat and decent noodles. It's something I would order time and time again without hesitation. I am looking forward to trying their zucchini noodle option. My wife had the pho, as she is a lover of all things pho, and this was a very worthy take on the classic dish. And it very well may be the best pho in the in the area! It had that wonderful, and classic, pho favor with a nice depth of flavor that you only find in places that really care about the broth. The crispy pork belly included was icing on the cake - you can just serve me chunks of those with a nice spicy sauce and I would be happy! Bowl 91 is a wonderful addition to the areas restaurant scene, and we are very much looking forward to stopping back in.

Tonight we had edamame, happy belly buns and crab Rangoon for an appetizer. For dinner we ordered a child’s ramen, Bowl 91 fried rice (without peas and carrots) and beef bulgogi drunken noodles. The happy belly buns are so delicious, pork belly served with a Korean bbq sauce and cucumbers in a soft gua bao bun. The crab Rangoon’s were folded into triangles and LARGE! The wonton wrappers were fried perfectly and were faintly sweet, almost like you were eating a donut. The filling was a good ratio to the wonton. The beef bulgogi drunken udon is so flavorful and is very spicy, which I love. The Bowl 91 fried rice, has all the proteins! The rice is sweeter and literally each bite you take makes you want another one, and another one, and another one. The kids ramen is a choice of broth, which a chicken soy sauce broth was chosen, and noodles. For drinks we had a passion fruit mojito which is so refreshing and the 91’s classic old fashioned which was nice and quite citrusy. Overall this place is a hit, but make sure you go early enough because there will be a wait! Give us a follow @gbdiningdykes on instagram

Great place! I'm not good at reviewing places but, here we go... Love the design and decoration in this place. Very clean and welcoming. It was very busy when my husband and I arrived (as it should be around 1). We waited only 2 mins while a table was being cleared for us. After seated we made our choices, Lemongrass Chicken Tacos, Curry lover and another romen dish(I'm not sure what he got but it was the first romen option). The food was sooo good! So much flavor and moderate spice (I'm not big on spicy food). Great service from our waitress, who made sure our glasses were always full and that we had what we needed. Lastly, the pricing was reasonable. For how much food you get and the quality, definitely worth it! We will be returning in the future by ourselves and with others (great place to bring a small group of friends). I'm excited to try other things on the menu and know they'll be just as good. Yum!

It's been about a year since I've had the chance to eat real Ramen, so I was excited to try out Bowl Ninety - One on a recent trip to Appleton. The place was packed when we arrived, and it appeared only two servers were working. Despite that, the servers were polite and friendly and very capably taking care of everyone. We waited about half an hour to be seated, and it was well worth the wait! We had Hmong egg rolls and edamame as an appetizer. The egg rolls were fried to perfection with tasty fresh carrots and cabbage, and the edamame was seasoned and steamed well. For our main dishes we ordered spicy miso Ramen, and Thong Katsu (tonkotsu) Ramen. Both were fabulous, with generous portions and a perfect balance of spice and flavor. Everyone was full and happy at the end of our meal, and we'll definitely be coming back!

The prices are fair for what you're getting. The lemon grass chicken tacos are great and have a nice spicy level is perfect, hot enough to enjoy but not mouth burning. The spicey miso ramen is great, fatty flavorful broth. I could have two or three bowls of it. The bulgogi tacos are good, but would be better with a different kind of kimchi topping, but either way it is delicious. It's a good hit the spot place, good home cooked meal. The egg rolls are legit hmong style egg rolls, better than most places I've been to. The service is good, but it does get busy so don't be upset if they don't get to you fast enough, but my service waiter was absolutely delightful. Will return again for the ramen, don't have to go to Madison or Chicago anymore, I'm from the Green Bay area.

The food is good. Very flavorful. Some of the chicken in one of the ramen dishes was extremely tough, though. It was nearly impossible to chew. The meatballs are a bit questionable in flavor and texture as well, but overall, everything else I've seen and tried is very good. They have Pepsi products and various teas and juice drinks. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is darker, but in a nice calming way. The seats and tables are a nice modern hardwood. There are also highchairs for small children. The staff is excellent, friendly and informative. Overall it's a very pleasant pleasant experience. *Featured dish is the Ramen Tom Yum Yummy.
