New and improved! A really fun little modern park downtown. It's tucked down the hill by the exhibition center. Stairs and ramp make acessability for all. The ground is the soft foam stuff. This park has several slides, lots of climbing, ropes and obstacles, and a really great grouping of musical equipment. There is a smaller structure for toddlers as well. No swings though. There are a couple benches for seating but there are also a lot of large flat rocks around the play area for make shift seating, along with lots of grassy area for picnics. As a music venue for one stage it is very nice, but with a temporary second music area (tent) whichever group is louder drowns out the other group, not to mention the park is in a valley which cause amplified sound to reverberate all over the park. Still attract people from all walks of life but cleaner, prettier and more accessible. Handicap accessible, clean bathrooms, cameras and amphitheatre to host evets. Ice rink in the winter.
