GIVE BILLY AN IMMEDIATE RAISE AND PROMOTION.
Two nights ago, I ordered around 145$ worth of take-out food for me and my family. My family and I work long hours, often skipping meals to examine patients and help with their miscellaneous needs. That day was no different as I only had a small yogurt for breakfast-no lunch. So by the time I had dinner, it was already past 8:30 PM and there were quite a lot to carry. As someone with a wrist injury and with the sheer amount of food that I had to carry in my hypoglycemic state, I dreaded the prospect of 1) exacerbating my wrist injury and 2) needing to make multiple trips to carry all the food.
That is where Billy came in to save the day.
Billy OFFERED to carry the food to my car. Him and his kind worker found a box to stack all the food and then Billy proceeded to lift the heavy Hodori BBQ order to my car.
But then, I messed up.
Due to my hypoglycemia, I was suffering from cognitive fatigue and brain fog. I accidentally made Billy go down the steps into the wrong parking section-wasting his time, effort, and energy lifting that heavy load of food.
I felt bad.
When I apologized, he had no malice in his voice and reassured me that I wasn’t of any trouble. “It’s all good” he reiterated. After the mishap, Billy’s demeanor was still as sweet and compassionate—expressing genuine empathy about the whole ordeal. He even shared his experiences of when he is hungry to build rapport with me and make me feel less embarrassed.
Firstly, Billy didn’t need to help me carry that heavy box of food, let alone OFFER TO HELP-but he did. Secondly, he didn’t need to be so kind and reassuring, making sure I didn’t feel embarrassed and bad, about my mistake. I was throughly impressed by how wonderful of a human being Billy is and truly believe that this man deserves a raise and promotion for his exceptional customer service and care. It is due to Billy that I know that I will be coming back to more often. However, I would like to know that this man received a raise or promotion; his kindness was a beacon of sunshine, the highlight, of my stressful and long day. I know that any other customers, when interfacing with Billy, would feel the same warm glow emanating from Billy and thus, be converted to a loyal customer...
Read moreMy family ate there today before shopping and had diarrhea immediately after. Stomach aches all night and something that we had brought from the restaurant smelled like a sewer in the car. The smell was probably covered up from having cooked the steak in the table.
While are the restaurant, we were not impressed with the meat they served us. They could not cut the steaks as they were mostly fat and gristle. I spit out nearly the entire steak as it was inedible. The menu said prime but you’ll get better steak from Yoshinoya.
Not a lot of people there. Less than 2 parties including us. Should have known why it’s empty.
For a meal that costed over $100 for a meal for 2 and a child this is not recommended at all. Go to Korea town amd get all you can eat for $30-40 per person and I never had food poisoning from those restaurants.
Update one day later:
Just wondering if anyone is interested in doing a YouTube with me that also has some background. This one could be interesting because I see many reviews saying the same things. Only they professional reviewers showing good stuff.
Just FWI it’s been 2 days I researched this place and many same bad reviews from legit people. All the professional reviews are the only spots that give this place good reviews. Wow. I wished I new. My son had a soccer game before this and is now suffering frim food poisoning.
Other spots said how the server didn’t cook correctly and I definitely will agree the server cooked with the same utensils after touching raw then immediately touching the cooked food. So this might be the reason for food poisoning. However the smell of underground dead carcus was part of...
Read moreI am writing this review on behalf of my family.
My family ate there last weekend and experienced terrible service. They asked for extra salad which the serving was too small to split amongst a party of 6. After asking a third time for a side of salad, the manager said only 2 bowls of salad per table. No where in the establishment said there was a limit of two very small bowls. If this is true, it should be explicitly told to all customers via sign or menu. The manager proceeded to stick her face close up to my family, eyes wide open, and yelled to them "You know this is not free right?" The audacity to talk to customers like that is against proper customer service. Of course upset, they did not want help from the manager, and asked another worker to help change the grill. After being ignored of the request, my family decided to let the workers know that they are walking out without finishing the food nor paying due to the poor customer service. The manager chased my family and threatened to call the police on them. She was told that they would go next door to get dessert and wait for the police to arrive. After several minutes, the cops never came and my family took their leave.
Very poor experience. The team needs to rework their management team and improve their...
