The date is May 13. Today at approximately 3:46 pm, we enter the Dunkin’ Donuts to find that we’re actually entering the twilight zone. My girlfriend ordered a Mangonada and I thought I was applying for a mortgage. The workers were bewildered and confused and one of the workers was actually signing a title to a car or a motorcycle literally. It got more and more strange from there. Zero eye contact zero recognition and 15 minutes later my girlfriend finally got her drink. There’s no ice in the drink, but it was an ice based drink and is supposed to be cold. She went back in to acknowledge the fact that the drink was poorly made and request a refund, and the cashier begin to talk about how the service so busy and they were understaffed, but we literally saw for employees working in the drive-through was empty over 50% of the time that we were in there. Another customer asked me if my drink was just not good, and I responded that it was usually good, but it was hot in temperature and the cashier made comments under her breath about how she could’ve just remade the drink and they were so busy because the lobby was packed in. There wasn’t much more she could do and she just forgot to put ice in the drink. Which she didn’t mention to me when I told her that the drink was warm and request a refund and she made another comment about how she could’ve just been made the drink, but she didn’t offer that to me when I ask for a refund. In the pain and misery of the experience, my girlfriend befriended another customer who is trying to get a cake that she had come earlier in the day for and had no luck in picking up picking up EVEN THOUGH she pre-ordered it. This event ruined her child’s birthday at a party without cake and again this cake was pre-ordered and she was supposed to be able to pick it up this morning. My expert recommendation is to shut down this facility until the proper staffing and management can be put in place. This in no way takes away from the good employees that have done at this location but today’s experience was unacceptable and frankly shocking. We are literally shaken to our cores. 1/10 would...
Read moreMy family and I are traveling on the road and decided to stop at this Dunkin’s to handle some business and have coffee while we were at it. During our visit we spent well over 50$ as we sat peacefully eating our food and having our drinks. We always pray before every meal but before prayer we noticed Juan and Venus laughing together as they were tickled by my husbands presence. As i noticed their behavior I continued to observe them from the corner of the room. As i looked towards Juan he continued laughing at us as he took on a staring stance as he continued to mock and laugh. At this point i approached the counter to ask for the employee who helped us and Venus asked me if I needed help and i said i wanted to speak with the other employee and I was asked for what as i responded that I wanted to speak with him. Once the other employee was finished with drive through i tipped him 5$ and returned to my table. Shortly afterwards before eating i joined my husband and daughter in prayer and while praying I opened my eyes and witnessed Juan and Venus laughing staring giggles galore at us praying. The sad part was that the $50 we spent most likely funded their hourly wage. It’s people like these 2 that give reputable companies a bad name and cause them to lose business. I CANT WAIT FOR the robots to take over and put people like this out of employment. It’s sad that people of Afican Indian Decent paved the way for such disgusting behavior to continue to transpire...
Read moreThe restaurant was semi dirty and staff members were mid conversation when we walked in. At first, they ignored us in order to continue their conversation about two different employees. After I walked out and walked back in, they finally took my order. The cashier stuggled with my iced coffee with carmel drizzle. She finally turned to a co-worker who was taking out the trash and asked for help. This worker placed the bag of trash down and picked up a spoon begin to stir my drink ( without washing her hands). I was mortified. She then completed my drink and passed it to me as if nothing was wrong.
I have no idea why but I asked where the carmel drizzle was. She stated that she left it off because I asked her to leave off the whip cream. " Carmel drizzle doesn't show up without the whip cream" is what I was told???? (It does at Starbuck and Dutch Bros)
Anyway, I paused and informed her that she charged me for it. She looked at me straight faced and said nothjng. Rather than argue, I took my drink, said nothing else, and threw it away as I exited the store( due to the trash situation).
When I contacted the store I was told that they will ask employees to wash their hands when switching from trash duty to food serving. I like the brand but this store is a...
