My husband and I really did like going here and my favorite thing to get was the veggie mocajete. The last experience we had when we went was super annoying. When we first sat down, the lady with the salsa cart was amazing, she was quick and was attentive to us. She made our chips and salsa and it still too our serve 10 minutes to even get to our table to take our order… and they weren’t THAT busy. The lady with the salsa cart was really great though, she came and got our drink order and was truly helpful. After we ordered, about 30 minutes later our food came out and my husband got the Carnitas fajitas and the veggies weren’t even cooked and the meat didn’t seem freshly cooked. Normally their food is pretty good, but this night was just off. Finally after ten minutes of my husband eating, my mocajete came out and normally those are sizzling hot. When it came out, it wasn’t sizzling and the veggies on top were warm, which once again, I’ve never had an issue with my order until tonight. I would’ve let all of this go and we would still like to come back after being customers for four years, but the interaction with the manager pissed me off. We asked for a manager to come over once my order came out, and he took his sweet time walking back and forth in the dining room to come talk to us. I was trying so hard to be nice and simply tell him the food was not the normal standard tonight. He abruptly interrupted me and asked what was wrong - so I went over the things in this review, and when I talked about my food, he touched the mocajete rock thing and acted like it burnt his hand - then gave me a look like I was lying and kind of chuckled like I was an idiot. I was done. Between the poor service from everyone but the amazing lady with the salsa cart and the food being below regular standard, once I had the manager Miguel come over and mock me that my food was hot, I was pissed. I looked him dead in the eye and asked him if he thought he was funny. And he started to stumble over his words and finally just asked what I want him to do and I told him I am not paying for the food and to take it. I’m still so annoyed he had the audacity to treat me like an idiot when I was trying so hard to be nice and alert him of the issues.
Look. I’ve been in the industry and I get being frustrated and there may have been other complaints he had to field that night; but how dare you Miguel act like I’m an idiot because the LAVA ROCK was still hot.
We’re no longer interested in coming to any of the Guadalajara’s if this is the type of management that is trained and represents the...
Read moreI just ate here January 21, 2025, last night, with my niece, she had the fajitas, she likes that, not something I personally would even order, I had the Chile Verde pork burro chimichanga, mine was delicious and I have had that before. My niece's fajitas were very tough and overcooked, I thought she was just being picky, but I tasted a piece and it was very tough as well as overcooked. Here's the major issue though, my niece nonchalantly asked for more salsa and we found out they charge eight dollars for salsa, even the first salsa you order !! We weren't charged eight dollars for salsa when we ordered here before !! We couldn't be told that upfront because the woman who makes fresh salsa at your table doesn't speak a word of English, but we should have been told upfront, the manager told us all restaurants were now charging for chips and salsa !! So you REALLY enjoy their delicious fresh salsa made right at your table ?? So did we !! I thought the fresh salsa made right at your table was a bit of overkill, now I know why !! Well guess what ?? You're going to pay eight dollars for it !! My birthday was the 17th, so this was my after birthday treat courtesy of my niece !! Very fun arguing with the manager over friggin' salsa !! Bottom line: great to come here if you like different pricing every time and want to be ripped off !! I'm not rich, neither is my niece. I also used the restroom and it smelled so ghastly, I almost didn't use it. Thanks for destroying my after birthday dinner over eight dollar salsa !! I probably will not come back. Not happy this time and just 😍😍 loved it before. This is sad. 🫤🫤☹️☹️ Just love being...
Read moreWill not be returning, I have been here several times, this is quite sad because when we received our dinner…the beans and rice were cold like very cold which I thought was odd so I told the server who was very sweet and respectful but I do believe she took my complaint seriously, the food arrived cold and I preferred that we do not ask them to remake it what’s the point then? Please kindly take both entrees off the bill I asked, I asked if the server or manager spoke Spanish because frankly they were not understating me in English. Then I was understood. The bill came and one of the entrees was not taken off the bill because the manager said I ate half of the burrito, sadly I didn’t I only scooped out the warm food. I demonstrated to the manager. This is disgusting and disrespectful-how do you serve cold food, how do I know you cooked it correctly at that point? I have a syndrome that does not do well with food born illnesses so I didn’t take the chance of having it remade…what for? I almost died in 2018 and 2019 due to the syndrome I have so yes if the food is not cooked correctly I will make it known to those in charge. I also let the manager know to take it of the bill I do not pay for cold and perhaps undercooked food. Aside from this situation it is extremely rare I go to any restaurant and the food is delivered cold. I have not had this problem at other locations only this location. We will not...
