Wow!! Went there tonight as we are off-season regular visitors and have been recommended to y'all several times. Working in the service industry, I was embarrassed for the service provided. After seating ourselves and not having the waitress approach us (even though she passed us several times) for almost 10 minutes. We eventually ordered our drinks, a beer and a Tuesday special Margarita. Our waitress, having gone outside to smoke (twice) before bringing our beer, no margarita yet. Dropped the beer and left. Came back maybe 5-7 mins later to say my drink wasn't ready, and she wasn't quite sure why? When the drink came about another 5-7 mins , she blamed it on the bartender saying "he forgot you, not me" She left, without taking our food order, took another smoke break and she ate some food. I am aware of this as she approached a table next to us chewing her food, while talking to them about more drinks. I ended up going to the bar to order drinks for us, where I was greeted by the bartender by him looking past me to our table, in my opinion wondering why we didn't ordered from our waitress. I took the beers back to our table , at this point we received our food, brought to us by a table busser. The food was good. I was pleasantly surprised, despite my husband's order being incorrect. Our waitress only came back to ask if she could bring us a check. When my husband mentioned his order was incorrect, she said "oh, sorry I'll give you 10% off your entree. She came back with our check, only to say "I don't like doing math , so I'll give you your beer for free ". Not the Margarita that took 20 minutes to get, a beer. Clearly this is a locals hang out , if you are not local....don't bother. Again, working in the service industry I know every customer matters. If I want to be tipped, that customer matters even more. Very sad this was...

I was there tonight. The bartender was ...to describe in a couple of words an a$$. I got there and ordered a drink. I could see some empty spaces so I asked him...anyone seating here he goes yeah. So I stood by the bar for 15 mins. So I asked him again anyone seating here...he said yeah they over there...he continues to tell me that where I'm standing is not a good place because the staff comes by to drop off drinks etc so I'm basically in the way as he so politely put it…not. Once I finally got a sit and ordered more drinks I could tell he was not friendly so when I tipped him more than 20% I wrote on the receipt he should be more polite. I have been in the customer service more than 20yrs…so he would not be hired by my standards. As I was ready to leave, I see some regulars dancing so I decided to stay and dance...so I ordered another drink. when the bartender came by he decided to say something but I couldn't hear. After I finished my drink I went over to him to get another drink and I asked him...what did you say? He goes oh this time you didn't write something. I said well my statement it’s true, you are rude but I tipped you so you wouldnt think I wasn't tipping you well because I'm Latina. He literally told me he didn’t care…and I have the audio recording to prove it. Then, I asked for another drink and he refused because I told him he was rude. I asked him who's the owner/manager he goes she wont be back until tomorrow morning. so, this place located in a place where is visited by tourist, you have Kris treating us this way? Perhaps, he may be the only bartender in the area? I hope the owner can read this comment because an attitude as what this employee has is not worth it. Bottom line...I will not support a business that allows their employees to treat us customers this way. Good bars in...

The food was great and I loved the environment inside. The only reason I put 3 stars is because our waitress didn’t check on us once through our whole meal. We saw other tables around us getting checked on multiple times by other waitresses. Our waitress checked on our tables but just not ours, I even tried making eye contact and waving but no luck. I had to ask another waitress to get her so we could order another drink. My husband went for half of his meal without a drink because he finished his and she didn’t check on us so he just shared mine. it was probably about 20+ minutes before we saw her, after she dropped our food off.

I ordered the Flaming burger (jalapeños and onions on it) with a side of fries and he ordered the Western burger (onion rings, bacon and BBQ sauce on it) with a side of onion rings. The food was delicious! We actually cut our burgers in half and shared!!! The onion rings were yummy and crispy and I liked how the whole onion didn’t come out on the first bite!!

Overall delicious food but I think we just got unlucky with our waitress. I would definitely be willing to go back to see if the service was different because I know the...

Had a group of 40 golfers heading up to Sedona to play in a couple tournaments on the long weekend, and decided to find a place in Sedona to grab beers, while we waited for others to drive up. Found PJ's as we were driving looking for a local watering hole, close to the VRBO we were staying at. The bar was warm and friendly, and you could tell all the locals. Had conversations with a lot of people, while having some of the coldest draft beers in AZ. Ended up at PJ's a couple times over the long weekend, to grab more beers, appetizers and food, served by our hard working waitress Marla, who remembered us by name. Filled the bar on a Friday afternoon after golf, to pass out prizes from our golf tournament, and the staff was not only hard working and friendly, with the rush we created, the food and drinks came out fast! Great place to stop for a cold one anytime you are in Sedona - We will be back again next year!

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at PJ’s Pub! It was Karoake Night and there were some great singers. I sat next to an interesting couple who was visiting from out of town. Plus, a young female group came in from France and they sang along to a few American favorites…..one song they particularly enjoyed and sang to was a U2 song where all of them were up singing and dancing. The food was good. I had the pulled pork sandwich w/ cole slaw ($17) for dinner and the cobb salad w/ chicken ($19) for lunch. The drink prices were very inexpensive and 1/2 pitchers can be bought for $10 which is less than the cost of 2 beers. My total bill was $62 and that was for two meals. Not bad at all for Sedona! I’d go back again. The people there are very friendly!
