I know this review is long but I wanted to be as thorough as possible in my review.
On Oct 24th around 8:30, a few friends and I visited Cherry Moon Grill and Bar for after class drinks and diner. Our waitress was cheery when she greeted us. Duchess passed us a few menus and said she would be back shortly. We saw that Happy Hour would end at 9pm and when a few more ladies joined us, we let them know that. Those ladies went to the bar and ordered their drinks and food. My group of 5 ladies had already placed our drinks and food order prior to them arriving. Quite a bit of time had past and we noticed that we that we had not received our drinks nor food. This was odd because the ladies that placed their orders at the bar had already received their orders. Dutchess did come by and let us know that our food was coming soon. The first order (Nachos) came and it look good. The second order (wings) came and it look good to. While I am waiting on my order to come I snagged a fry from the wing basket and it was not hot nor warm. Ten minutes later, my cheeseburger and fries arrive. The bun felt cool to the touch, the fries was room temp, but I still wanted to give it a try. I took one bite of the burger and noticed the ketchup missing so I added a little but using a fry to spread. Took another bite and it tasted as if I bit on a salt lick. It was horrible to taste. I opened the burger to see if I could see where he salt was. I could not see it due to the cheese, mayo and tomato. I took another bite and the extreme taste of salt was not missed. I grabbed the plate and proceeded to the bar to ask for the manager. When Dutchess asked what happened, I ask her to get the manager because something was really wrong with the burger and I wanted to address it with her. The manager never came out to ask what the issue was. The waitress said that I could get a refund or could order something else. At this point I was done with the whole scene. The barmaid asked me what was wrong with the burger. I told her that it taste as if someone poured a bottle of salt on it. The I lifted the bun to show the barmaid and my waitress and you could see the salt on the burger and napkin I used to wipe my fingers. For a person who normally do not use salt, I had that taste in my mouth for a day and a headache that...

Another thing that bothers me is the casual street wear no hair net no gloves including him coming in and out from kitchen going outside of the building then come back in and jump right back to handling peopleās food and going in and out the kitchen from outside, and doesnāt appear to wash hands and he was taking too long to do a simple 8 piece wing basket and fries and it was literally nobody in Cherry Moon and I was the first order when I got there. Had to send food back chicken not properly cooked and after waiting over 30 min had to wait again for correction. Itās too many people that doesnāt work kitchen cooking dressed in basic street clothes coming straight from out side walking in the kitchen where our food is being prepared for me including the people cooking with no proper cooking attire no hair nets no gloves itās giving unsanitary and improper food handling.2 of my people got food poisoning from the pasta and ended up with messed up stomachs and on the toilet from eating here at cherry moon. The prices are way too high for the quality of food we get and the way itās handled with mediocre service. They want tips but I have to do 95 percent of the work to be served, like I have to go to the bar to order food and my drinks including come back from sitting at my table just to pick up my food including had to return back to the bar to ask again for my water that I asked for when I ordered my drink never got it and having to keep getting up to ask for stuff. Kitchen seems VERY unorganized. Price does not match quality. If I am paying upscale lounge prices the service should match cherrymoon has potential if the customer service is improved and the kitchen makes a few changes with time management and food quality and why is everything plastic and to go type dish products if we are dining in?????? Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen it was Cherry Moon I ordered the same that I did yesterday and couldn't stop raving and recommending the place. I had a cheeseburger combo (fries which were the best thing other than a canned drink) with a salad. There was no cheese on it and the female staff person wanted to go back and forth.. EVEN after I showed her on the printed menu that it's listed to include cheese..I never got it, so I threw the salad away. The canned beverage came about 25 minutes after the food came out. The fries and the hamburger bun was delish and of course you can't mess up a canned beverage which didn't pop up on the scene until about 25 minutes after the food was brought out. The burger though..had nooooooo seasoning other than the mayo, mustard and ketchup, pickles and lettuce. The hamburger patty itself was thick, hard and flavorless it was not hamburger-ing, couldn't cut it with a knife ...I tried and it looked like a frozen minced formed patty out of a box. If the French fry seasoning was on the burger as well..that might have worked (that's an idea?!) The service that took my order he was great..the backup service person she was not. She had no smile, no apology, no nothing. Former Cherry Moon service staff PLEASE GO BACK to the former Cherry Moon location. Oh! There was a band..they were loud as hell but great singing and instrument players..we didn't stay because I came, ordered, tossed it and left still hungry! I will dip in again in the future to check the temperature and maybe get fries only instead but it's going to be awhile! I should've went to WHATABURGER, Razzoos, Wendy's....
