I wanted to give 1 star but their fries were at least seasoned, warm and tasty. That is where the good comments end. The falafel wrap has to be one of the worst I've ever eaten. I've had authentic falafel and this is not it. My wrap had ice cold frozen falafel inside. Surprisingly, it tasted like bland cardboard. I've never had falafel taste this awful. I'm baffled. The lettuce and tomatoes soaked through my wrap and made the entire thing soggy. I opened the wrap and tried the individual parts to confirm if it was all bad - it was. My entire wrap was frozen cold and it had absolutely no flavor. The other reviews made me think this place was going to be really tasty - not at all. I want to believe this was a mistake. Surely, this place isn't serving what I got on a regular basis. This was so bad. There are WAY better options for flavorful falafel in the area. My experience was so bad that I'm not returning to give them another try. Hard pass on this spot. It's not worth my hard earned $ to get flavorless ice cold food.
Edit response to owners: I've updated my review to 1 star following the response from the owner. My original review did not include harsh words. I was being accurate. It was awful and cold. I ordered pickup (not delivery like you suggested) and arrived early (5 minutes before expected time) to pick up my food in store. The fries were very warm so I know it wasn't because of delivery times. You can't excuse bad food practices with lies to your customers. My food was ice cold, soggy, and tasted bland - lacking flavor. The reviews speak for your product and that includes this one. Buyers beware of tasteless...
Read moreI went to Fattoush @fattoushmass located on 142 Massachusetts Ave, #ArlingtonMA 📍 This takeout spot features #Mediterranean & #veganeats, including #falafel, #shawarma & #babaganoush.
For appetizers we had the #Mouhamara dip with homemade pita chips. The Mouhamara contains aleppo pepper, walnuts, bread crumbs, lemon and an assortment of spices. We also have #Tolma (Grape 🍇 leaves) which had lemon 🍋 juice, rice and onions🧅.
For entrees we had the #chickenshawarma plate. This contained chicken on #ricepilaf, side salad and #hummus. We also had #Lahmajun or “#Armenianpizza🍕” which is a #flatbread topped with minced vegetables🥬 and herbs including onions, garlic, tomatoes, #redpeppers, and parsley, flavored with spices such as chili pepper and paprika, then baked (my personal favorite!).
Finally, we had #Sujuk or #Armenian sausage sandwich which is made with beef, lots of garlic and a mix of #aromaticspices 🥪
This place has great to go options for dips and/or #desserts including #baklava.
I highly recommend checking out this spot if you are a lover of #Lebanese🇱🇧 Armenian 🇦🇲 and other #Mediterraneaneats.

Read moreI have recently noticed a trend where restaurants "forget" to include an item or two in the take out bag; an item(s) that they charged you for. This has happened enough times now that I believe it's more than a mere coincidence. I am going to start calling out these unethical business owners from now on so that people are better informed.
I ordered takeout from this place for dinner and went in to pick up nearly an hour afterward. It was quite late at night. The bag was ready to go. I paid up after adding a generous (22%) tip since it seemed to be a mom-and-pop restaurant and left with the bag without checking for all the items. When I got home, I realized that he had charged double for the shawerma and had conveniently "forgotten" to include the baklava for which he had charged me.
I believe business owners like these, struggling or otherwise, count on their customers not checking their items at take out to make some extra cash on the side. After all, who's going to take the trouble to come back for the missing item, especially if it happens to be close to closing time?
It's a shame because I love Lebanese...
