Kung Fu Tea — Restaurant in Arlington

8/10/22 Update: Looks like the shady awning that was set up in July is now gone, so sitting outside can get a little hot pretty quickly. 7/3/22 UPDATE: Very busy and crowded because of the July 4th fireworks happening in downtown. They stayed open several minutes after their official closing time because there were so many people and orders. They also ran out of boba, so if you go during a customer surge be mindful that that might happen, I don't blame them for it. 6/7/22 UPDATE: They added more outdoor seating in the form of a chair and table set outside right next to the loveseat bench. I like this place cause it has an extensive allergen menu, including what is/isn't gluten free, however I don't think they have a dedicated allergen free blender, so there might be risk of cross contamination. Other than that, I like going cause they can customize your drink a lot (no ice, sugar levels, etc.). However, I don’t think they offer different milks/milk powders cause for some reason, when I asked about the almond milk tea they said it doesn't use almond milk. They have a nice atmosphere with lots of different seating arrangements, from bar height seats to bean bags, located outside, upstairs, and downstairs. Anime and kpop music plays often here. I wouldn't order through ubereats ahead of time here because the apps significantly increase the price of the drinks, compared to when you order in person. Bathrooms didn't have paper towels,...

Let me start by saying if I could give zero stars I would , first of all my and my bf we are colored people … I got there around 3:16 yesterday when I got here I didn’t even feel welcomed like I did other times it was this lady with black thin hair and a horrible attitude we were the only colored people there and she waited 15 minutes to come bother us and say we can’t be here unless we are buying something remind u we are always here just chilling or playing games and I loved this place but now I’m not even sure if I could look at it the same if these are the type of workers that yall hire, the type of workers that yall like ….. so moving forward I went to buy something and she gave me the dirtiest look ever she didn’t say anything I felt so threatened so I just went to sit back down then other people came in who were not my color and she welcomed them they didn’t pay for anything they sat down and had fun then she tried to tell us we had to leave because the manager said so …. This really angered me and if this is what I’m going to get when I come into to place that was my last time .. check your employees attitude she’s lucky nothing...

This branch was one of the best. I recommend this branch for TX + Arlington branch.

If you want a milkshake like; You must try Oreo wow; it is so yum...
