We had an incredible experience at La Sirena in Arlington that left us craving more. Our visit on a Thursday was a stroke of luck, as we indulged in the Pastor Tacos for just $1 each – an absolute steal. The flavors were outstanding, and the green salsa had a kick that made every bite memorable. My husband opted for the Parrillada Mixta, and it was a symphony of deliciousness. The grilled caramelized onions added a sweet note that perfectly complemented the mix of meats. As for me, the tabilitas plate was a revelation. The quality of the meat stood out, and the rice and beans were a delightful accompaniment. Tamy, our waiter, deserves a special shout-out for providing exceptional service. Attentive and friendly, she added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. The restaurant's ambiance is welcoming with a fantastic decor that enhances the dining atmosphere. Anticipation lingers as we look forward to exploring more dishes on their menu. We couldn't resist taking some tacos to go, and to our delight, they were just as amazing the next day. La Sirena has certainly left a lasting impression, making it a must-visit for anyone in search of delectable cuisine and top-notch service

So it’s my first time here and I’ll start coming more often. I happen to drive by and they were advertising $1 tacos (Pastor or Carnitas). I stopped by for something quick to eat and something cold to drink. I will say. I was surprised at the quality of tacos for $1. It was much better than MOST tacos at $3ea. I wished the service was a bit better though. It was super slow when I visited. Only like 3 customers. One of those was a family of maybe 4-5. However, I was never asked if I wanted nor hot sauce because I was out before they brought me the tacos and never refilled chips. Was there for about 30-45 minutes and was only attended twice. I had to ask for my ticket as if my empty table wasn’t a sign that I was ready to go. But other than the service being mediocre, the atmosphere seems good, plenty of screens for sporting events and a nice sized bar. I’ll stop by more often and try other foods and will update their rating as I go along. It’s kind of pricy but close to competitive pricing. Needs more of a selection for mid-day specials. No one wants to spend $25-$40 on a lunch meal.

I hardly ever leave negative reviews for places I’ve been, because I usually will find some positives, but this place we just couldn’t find much good to talk about. Service was SLOW!!!! we waited over an hour for our food, so in the mean time our children decided to eat the chips that we were given to that was half full. We were told after the third basket that we were being charged for refills on the chips. Food had hardly and taste at all. My shrimp cocktail was half full and the shrimp were the size of dimes. My son’s shrimp boil was half full, but looking at the picture on the menu we expected much more especially since we paid 30 dollars for his plate. My daughter’s tortillas on her chicken enchiladas were so chewy she was unable to eat them. My husbands molcajete was tasteless, and they only provided three small corn tortillas with it. My other daughter’s cheese quesadilla tasted sour. When we got our 177 dollar bill I noticed that they also charge for WATER!!!! 🤯 I’m usually one to give a place another chance to redeem themselves, but this his will not be one.

Decided to give this place a try and let me say it was a huge let down, the beginning was awesome we were greeted with a great attitude we placed our orders went with fish tacos for me Gordita and a sope for my mom, tacos de pastor for my husband and a molcajete de guacamole that was supposed to be our appetizer. There was a bit of a confusion on the gordita and sope we were told that we could have one of each so a total of 2, one gordita and one sope. Our drinks were brought over chips and salsa it was good so far, we waited 45 minutes for our incomplete order at that, there was only 3 tables with people so to be waiting that long was questionable still we brushed it off. As we received our food I was so disappointed because you would expect a full plate for the price you’re paying for, our tacos were small a bit of frijoles and a small little pyramid of rice, When the gordita and sope arrived for my mom another lady that was not our server had 2 separate plates when we had ordered only one, my mom addressed that calmly without any attitude so this employee says “ I don’t know who told you that but it’s wrong you can’t have one of each it’s either sopes or gorditas “ my mom and I look at each other confused, I ask the lady “ so we are being charged for an extra order we clearly didn’t want, I’m sorry but this makes no sense “ again we remained calm we were never rude honestly. So the lady says she can redo the order that’s when I declined because it took long enough for the food to arrive in the first place. I told her we were just going to leave because we were truly dissatisfied and besides we never got the guacamole, she proceeds to blame the server because he’s new and says “ we gave the guacamole to another table, so do you want the food or not “ at this point I was so angry but I kept my cool only for the fact that my mom was there. I told her no that’s fine and as soon as we got up she says “ you know you still have to pay for the food right “ and to be clear we didn’t even touch it that’s how upset we were. I told her fine I wasn’t going to cause a scene so we move to the cashier and I remind her that we are not paying for the guacamole we never got nor the extra order we didn’t even order. She didn’t like that and leaves, I know this will only be met up with an excuse if it goes answered and it won’t matter if we return but with a firm “ no thank you we will not return “ . What I would like is...

This is probably my 3rd or 4th time coming to this place since I’ve heard about it. We were greeted with respect and politeness, which I liked. The timing of the food varies with the restaurant and how busy they are which I understand. I would recommend this restaurant but some of the dishes are a hit or miss, especially if they include sides; some tend to be very small barley anything there. Our waitress that we had while I’m writing this review was very attentive and patient. My only problem, which I found very unsanitary and disrespectful in my opinion is that I see an employee walking back and forth eating a bag of chips throughout the restaurant. I just find that so unprofessional. Also every server is different especially with their level of experience. But I noticed one in particular helping another table and it bothered seeing being treated kind of badly by his table. He looked like He was doing his best, so I applaud him.As a business help your employees to improve and to make sure they can succeed in their position. Overall a good experience this is why I give it 3 stars but I would recommend to others but at...
