Lightning Coffee — Restaurant in Arlington

I can’t speak for the entire menu, but the iced matcha was totally useless. The barista filled the cup almost completely with milk, then used a squeeze bottle (like a ketchup bottle) to squirt in some premixed matcha. I basically paid $7 for a cup of milk with a splash of green sauce. On top of that, they automatically added a 20% tip. When I tried to change it, she reset it back to 20%—so I just gave up on life. Overall, not worth it....

Legit coffee makers know how to froth milk and make drinks like lattes, cortados, etc. with designs in the milk froth. This place is one of those legit shops. Cortado was great. Wanna-be’s and large chains don’t have the craft skills that go into something as simple as making a latte or cortado which those other places often mess up but charge just as much.
