Hi Popeyes, since you don’t have a corporate feedback mechanism, this poor store has to be the victim of my 1-star review. This review is for your corporate presence as I’ve never been to this particular store.
I grew up in New Orleans and so was raised on Popeyes. My father would sometimes treat my very large family to a nice Popeyes dinner when we had events that would disrupt normal meal plans or on a special occasion. I loved it from the start, and always have. The love affair started in the 70s and has been going strong since then. It was my go-to fast food place.
Things have changed, though, and I’m afraid we must part ways. I understand that prices rise over time, even though I think the current inflation period has a lot more to do with corporate profit-taking than reality. The last time I bought a 3-piece chicken meal, it cost me $17. This meal is the same as it always has been-three pieces of chicken, a side and a biscuit. For $17, I just done see the value anymore, particularly since I can go to my local Kroger and get 8 pieces of decent chicken for $9. I would pay $9 for your chicken, but $16? It’s too much.
Now I have to buy the cheap chicken, which is pretty good, and dash it with cayenne and loads to of hot sauce. It’s not the same, but it will do. In the meantime, I’m sure folks will continue to pay your exorbitant prices and not bat an eye, but I’m getting into my crotchety years and am starting to complain about things like this.
Good luck to you, as I don’t want a world without Popeyes, but I would like a world where you charge a reasonable amount for what is after all...
Read moreI’m not sure if this is the correct location I want to report this rude lady. The Popeyes she is at is located on COOPER ST and ARKANSAS Ln in Arlington. She treated me with bad customer service and I complained and asked for the manager, she said she is the manager sad. After me making a complaint she got mad because I mentioned good customer service something I deserve and I never did anything wrong and I did not disrespect anyone. She does not know good customer service and has no leadership skills. I am not sure how she got the job as a manager. She tried to deny me service because I wanted to speak to a manager about the way she treated me. Another employee a guy had to take over because he saw what she was doing and he served me, he was amazing didn’t catch his name but I wanted to say he is a asset to your company and knows how to give good service and a good professional experience. I was told the general manager of this store name is Alex hopefully Alex or someone in upper management will see this review and rectify this situation. Maria needs to work on better communication and how to talk to people and the way she is towards customers you can tell she is not that great to work with because the staff acted as if they are afraid of her. Very unacceptable the work place shouldn’t be unpleasant for staff because of a...
Read moreThis place should be under investigation. I went here with a friend. We ordered two 2pcs chicken combos. My friend ordered his with french fries, i opted for the mash potatoes. While placing our order we were told it would take 15 minutes make original style chicken. My friend asked them to make sure his fries are fresh. Reasonable request since we have to wait for our chicken right. Well the worker who was a female took offense & gave off nothing but attitude after that. Our 15 minute wait on chicken turned to 30 minutes. When my friend went in to get the food, they acted annoyed. We finally got our food home & my friend's chicken thigh had a piece missing out the center & was wet. Took it back for a refund. The manager was waiting on our arrival, because he was video recording us as we pulled in. My friend went inside to a group of the same female before, two males workers & the manager huddled together. The girl has a smile on her face like she knew why we returned. We believe they did something to the food. If they could do it to us due to his small request there's no telling who else's food they've...
