Smoothie King — Restaurant in Arlington

VIP's get better service? I have never been to a Smoothie King before... Which is what I told the lady who took my order. I had just enough time (I thought) to pick up a smoothie and make it to my destination a half mile down the road where I was meeting someone and needed to let him in the front door with my door code at 1:30pm. My receipt on 7/7/22 shows I placed my order at 1:06:32PM. I ordered a Banana Berry 32oz Treat w/ a scoop of whey protein for a total of $10.07. I paid cash with a $20 and threw $1.93 in the tip jar. A guy ordered after me and another guy after that and I sat there and watched both of them pick up their smoothies before I got mine and it was not because my smoothie was more complicated. Both of those guys had more ingredients in their smoothies than my 3 ingredient smoothie did. The only thing I notice that was different was that they seemed to be "regulars" or VIP's of some sort. I thought this was really uncool since I had mentioned I was a first time customer. I didn't walk out of this Smoothie King until 1:28PM with my smoothie and was late to my meeting. My smoothie was yummy but not worth $10 and I won't be back after tipping almost $2 for second...

I love coming here... It's me and my mom's go to on Fridays. I'm glad that they have the meal replacement smoothies for $6 and the reg smoothies for $5... We always get a MR because we have so much to do in the mornings. In the evening it's a little harder for service, seems to be a lot of teenagers working. I texted my order in yesterday and never got a response, I always get a response in the morning when I go. When I made it there, I told the lady that I had a text in order but never got a reply. She looked a little confused and then looked at the phone and apologized. There was another female playing around with a guy in the back, she kept coming in and out of the door while there was one female making everyone's smoothies. There we're about 5 ppl in there. Sucks I had to wait for my smoothies even though I texted in my order. I don't think I'll be going in the evenings anymore, I'll just continue to stick with the morning crew.. Well, I've never been a big store made smoothie person myself as I feel they are WAY overpriced considering what you can save by buying your own quality mixer. But, there was one smoothie that I have NEVER been able to adequately duplicate and that was the "Cherry Picker", unfortunately it seems that this wonderful smoothie has gone they way of the dinosaurs even though their website still shows it on the menu. This is the 3rd SK that I have been to in the past week and they all have taken it off their menu. The new menu seems to be completely focused ONLY on super healthy, kale type inspired concoctions that probably lack a great deal of amazing flavor as I'm not going to try even a few of those kind of smoothies. Please at least have a few of your older smoothies back that were Ultra Tasty and not a cup of ground up greens...
