Totally Tea — Restaurant in Arlington

I got the usual order i get from boba cafes: Brown Sugar boba with tapioca pearl, but i was unpleasantly surprised by a severe sore throat not even five minutes after finishing my drink. I suspect it’s due to a lack of sanitation. Not only did i become sick, the service was comparable to talking with a goose. The drink though, the entire point of me being there, was disappointingly mediocre. I wasn’t expecting much, but i was at least expecting fresh boba and not rock hard pieces of brown sugar, starch, and what ever other ingredients are in tapioca. I would absolutely not recommend any boba cafe that is located inside of any mall, not only this one in particular. If you’re looking for a place to try boba for the first time, i recommend the 9 Rabbit Boba House and Cafe. We ordered the tea not know whether we were gonna like it and left realized it wasn't our cup of tea (ha) and went to return it kindly asked if we can return it and she said no so we left on our way as we were going up the escalator we heard her co-worker asking what we asked she started laughing and mocking us for asking for a refund and we weren't even half way up the escalator! For what it is they are good. I've definitely had worse but all things considered, the staff was quick. Our drinks were OK we drank it and didn't throw it away so that's how I gauge it. My family drinks boba from all over the place and though this isn't the worse nor is it the best. For the size of the workspace they had to work I'd say it's not a bad place to get a drink if you happen to crave boba tea...
