Sonora Food Products — Restaurant in Artesia

I only ordered tamales because I heard they were excellent and I didn't have time to make them this year for Christmas. My family has been buying masa from Sonora for many years. In my opinion they had too much masa and on the dry side. The service could be better but I don't think they have any motivation to improve. They had a steady flow of customers. They suggested I call first to confirm if my tamale order was ready. Since I was driving from SGV, I did call and got confirmation that they were ready. When I got there, they weren't. This is a definite hole in the wall, but it is very good. We get food from here on lunch often. It is always very good, and very affordable.
