So I am not one that likes to complain about things, but over all my experience was HORRENDOUS this evening and I can tell you I will NEVER order from this location again.
I placed an order online through their website for delivery. At the time that our food should have been delivered (through door-dash) we were told that he didn't have the order. Mistakes happen. This is fine. I am an understanding person and wanted to know what was going on and if I needed to replace the order after finding this out. So I called and spoke with Kathy she seemed stressed out and stressed to me she didn't know what I wanted her to do after questioning why I didn't keep the order of food that was delivered as a "Bonus." At this point I expressed to her we didn't keep the food because it wasn't ours. People have allergies, and from how the driver explained it to us he was going to go make the delivery, pick up our food and he would be back. I tried to ask a question and was cut off, but wanted to know if the food would be remade because at THIS point it had already been sitting for at least 15 minutes. THIS IS WHERE ALL THE CONFUSION STARTED After about 10 minutes I get a call from Kathy again, stating that the Driver was at the location and that she wanted me to verify the Drivers name that helped me. I obliged. She told me that she was talking to me on his phone and that he was headed our way and that she would like for me to call and speak with her after I've had the opportunity to eat my dinner so she could ask me some questions and figure out just what had happened. I told her that I would, and hung up waiting on my dinner.
Now when I called her I wanted to ask her if the food that had been sitting there for at LEAST 15 minutes was going to be sent to me, but I was given the opportunity. She did not seem like she cared, but we all get stressed right? I hope that her day got better. Mine however didn't and this is why we are here.
Our dinner arrived, and it wasn't even worthy of a picture. The Chicken Alfredo was all clumped together and luke warm at best and looked like the equivalent to a bowl of leftovers. The ribs we ordered were room temperature and tasted fine from what I was told.... I mean what can I expect for a $60 meal that sat there waiting to be relieved for 30 to 40 minutes?! Here is where my temper kicked in.
Remember that bit where I told you she wanted me to call her back!? I called her back and someone answered the phone telling me in a short manner that she was indisposed and asked if I she had my number. I politely told him that I could wait for her and he said ok placing me on hold. I waited 10 minutes, hung up and called back. The same person answered the phone with a stupid accent (comparable to Movie phone for those of you old enough to know what I am talking about.) I asked if I could speak with Kathy. This time, I can not lie I was a little irritated and I am sure he sensed it in my voice.) Instead of being professional about it, he decided to mock me with whoever else was around and say... "This lady would like to talk to Kathy" in the same condescending tone. I could hear laughing just before he placed me on hold again.
IF I could give 0 stars.. I would. This guy was a complete jerk assuming that maybe I was someone that she personally knew and treated me as such. So Thank you Jerk at Applebee's for ruining a place that we held near and dear to my heart and turning it into a place I will never step...
Read more[ ] I was getting my car serviced at Midas across the street and I thought I would grab lunch at the nearby Applebee’s. I think the last time I had visited one was in my hometown of Las Vegas probably over 20 years ago so I was actually excited to eat here! I walked in and there wasn’t a host but since I knew it was just me and I wanted to sit at the bar I just sat myself. There was one other patron at the bar with me so that made me feel better to know the bar was in fact open. I waited for 10 minutes and I couldn’t even pick out who the staff was because there was nobody around! Then I saw what I know now was the manager and he didn’t even say hello he just gave me a menu and then sat the 4 top that had been waiting at the front door as long as me. Another 5 minutes and I finally see the bartender who is disheveled in appearance and doesn’t even have any sort of uniform on just a black hoodie. I ask for a water and the Alfredo with blackened shrimp right away. The food does come out in a timely manner. Another manager brings it and asks the bartender if she has silverware behind the bar, she does not she says. He gets me silverware but no napkin, says he will get me napkin and I take it out to see a disgustingly dirty knife. Luckily my meal doesn’t need a knife. The shrimp is not blackened. It tasted similar to a microwave Annie’s Alfredo but I’m so starving I finished it. I put my card out to pay about three minutes into eating because I am just looking around and observing the service at this restaurant and I can’t believe what I am seeing, about 6 people waiting at the front door again and the managers definitely see it and finally after four or five minutes of them waiting he then says “it’s going to be awhile folks.” They are not even that busy but they’re clearly understaffed. With the pandemic I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but if the service was better than maybe I could. Let’s just say I’ll never be returning and now I know why it’s been over 20 years since I have been to a location. It was nice that manager Ken (I believe?) ran my card and said “thank you for coming in and sorry for the wait.” Maybe he could see the irritation on my face? Go ahead and do yourself a favor and support a local...
Read moreThis location is convenient to 2 major interstate freeways and located on a primary state highway artery. With lots of competition for dining fast, in, and out all around us we chose Applebee's. My best friend and I showed up at 11:15am which was 15minutes into service. I'm glad it was open. I had no knowledge of what time it opened. The atmosphere was set. Everyone who worked there was ready for their role. A host met us and sat us. A lady in a red crew shirt (I'm sorry, I don't know your role) grabbed us drinks to start. Our server showed up and introduced himself. We had put in for two of the All You Can Eat Boneless Wings, Riblets, and Shrimp...with endless fries! The new addition of boneless wings is great. I had iced tea w/ peach. LITERALLY, PEACH! I start to stir up my drink and I noticed something mixing in it besides ice. A huge peach sliver in my huge glass of peach iced tea! Peach... Final one. I promise. I ordered first the wings. They're tasty with a great crunch and have some type of a yummy seasoned breading. I had requested that the honey BBQ sauce and original hot sauce be mixed and then the wings get tossed in that. Request approved. The shrimp was delicious as shrimp is supposed to be. Yum! Aaand to be honest, I'm not favorable towards riblets so I didn't order any of it, but let me tell you.. My best friend was just as happy as I was with the food and the service. She's been to the chain plenty of times she had said and I've only been twice. Our server was awesome. Adam, he put up with my hyper attitude. And I'm sorry, and I thank you. As time went on during our meals the place began to fill when patrons and the staff handled us all well. They were working together to get stuff done. We were leaving and it was 12:15pm and there was a good 20+ tables plus bar guests in the joint getting it in. The service was so quick that it made the atmosphere enjoyable and personal. I didn't notice much other people dining with us until we got up to leave. The experience here was...
