With 4 other Mexican food resturants and another one getting ready to open, you would think this place would step up the customer service. Waiters seem rushed to take orders and don't like questions or small talk. Drinks are slow to come from the bar. We sat next to a few ladies that were running their mouths and saying inappropriate things we didn't care for our children to hear as we were there for family dinner not a bar scene. One lady suggested my husband wanted to meet her in the bathroom in front of our kids. It was just a strange environment. When the waiter found out about it he treated us like it was our instigating and took the side of the ladyies even though it was obvious we were there as a family and the other 2 ladies were there for a bar night and had too much to drink. These ladies should have been cut off and asked to leave as they were clearly over served. The waiter made sure to take care of them as he said they were regulars and didn't care about the family he was also serving. We have been there several times ourselves but this was the worst experience out of all. I am guessing our 20% tip was greater than the 2 ladies given we are a family of 7. Don't forget they add an additional 3% wait staff service charge automatically to your bill. The managers were apologetic about our experience but the waiter who still got his 20% tip made no effort. It will no longer be my first choice for a family spot given the lack of family feeling...
Read moreVery busy the day we were there and the Service was excruciatingly slow because seemed there seemed to be only three servers and one hostess who had minimal people skills Food was acceptible ,when it arrived !! We asked for two desserts to go .Big mistake .I tried to catching our servers eye without any success so I went to ask the hostess ,situate near the kitchen and she told me to sit back down and ask my server .After about five more minutes I decided to get back up and ask again and I ran in to another server and asked him if he would mind checking .He was very pleasant and went to the kitchen and then started to check the tickets "on the rail".He came back and acknowledged that he had found our order and said we were five or six down and it shouldn't be too long .I dutifully went to sit down again and lo and behold our desserts were brought out after about another five minutes or so. I suspect we waited at least 25 minutes for a portion of sopapillas and what I would consider about a half to a third portion of Churros .They must have been running out of product because a portion that small should be reported to somebody as highway 'robbery' By the way we never saw or encountered anyone who looked like a manager or supervisor all the time we were there .Perhaps he or she was buried in...
Read moreEssentially, every single item I ordered was incorrect lol. Yummy, but incorrect. I ordered a margarita that listed agave in the description, but was later told they don’t have agave, just sugar (that can be a big difference to some people). Then as my next drink I tried to order a skinny marg and asked “that doesn’t have triple sec, correct?” And the waiter said it did then looked at me like I had three heads and said “that’s a ranch water” I said “most skinny margs omit triple sec and replace with fresh citrus and agave” he said “we don’t have agave” I said “it’s listed as an ingredient in the last drink I ordered?” He said “oh yeah we use a sugar simple syrup, we do not have agave” I said “ok I’ll take a ranch water then”. It came in a short glass, and ranch waters are typically served in a tall glass but whatever, more upset about the agave/simply syrup situation. Then I ordered tacos with pickled jalapeños. The jalapeños were forgotten and the tacos came as a double decker (bean/cheese mixture in between a flour tortilla and the normal taco) which were yummy but not what I asked for and $2 extra per taco. So again, every single item I ordered was incorrect lol. Yummy...
