I was very disappointed in my visit to this location. We have frequented the Lafayette location many times and have never had an issue. We decided to try out the Arvada location since we wanted to walk a little in old Towne after dinner. We had a reservation for 7 but did get there about 20 min early. We were greeted by a younger blond gal. She said we can go ahead and seat you early but go ahead and seat yourselves. Just walk straight back, it's the only table open. She wasn't very pleasant or friendly. I said ok...and as we walked back there were 2 tables open so we were very confused where to sit. I eventually sat down at the 2 top and I guess it was the right one since we were served. The table was so tiny and barely had any room between the people behind us. It was super uncomfortable. We were greeted by our server who was kind and attentive. She is the only reason for the 2 stars. We ordered the shishito peppers and chicken quesadillas for an app. The quesadillas were stuck together and super mushy. The peppers were also mushy and had no bite whatsoever. I ordered the cotija cheese taco and ahi Tuna taco. My bf ordered 2 pork belly tacos and the tilapia taco. Both of us were so disappointed. We've never had bad tacos at the other location. The piece of tuna I got was so tiny, the cotijia cheese on the taco wasn't cooked into the tortilla like normal, and the pork belly was all fat and was tough. I have no idea what is going on at this location but it was so so disappointing. Our drinks were good but they did take awhile to come out. The Panna cotta was super delicious. It was the best part of the night. Our bill with tip and tax was $89 and wasn't worth it at all. We won't be visiting this location again. Management needs to have a training session with the hostess, and find out what happened with the food...

Excited to try this new Olde Town Arvada spot.

I used OpenTable to make a reservation for 3 people 6pm'ish on the patio, well in advance.

We arrived on time of reservation. We were told would need to wait for a table to open up. In the meantime, others just walking in or later reservations were seated before our party or reservation.

When finally seated. The server asked for a drink order, and appetizer request. We placed an order for 3 house margaritas, and house made guacamole. 1 of 3 drinks arrived, then the second drink 5 minutes later. Never received the 3rd drink.

Sever asked for meal order. I ordered 3 different tacos, the others ordered entrees.

The food came out quickly, well parts came out quickly. The appetizer, guacamole still had not been served. My tacos order came up with the other food, minus one taco.

We still haven't gotten the drinks, plates, or silverware for the meals. I requested all of the above, and a refill of waters. Nothing out of those was given after asking 3 times.

The guacamole finally made it's way to the table after 3/4 the way thru the dinner. The 3rd drink never came. The server was very very lacking. She wasn't even attempting to try.

Later found out she was ordering food to the wrong table and never said anything about the error. She could've just simply, told us sorry or anything but ignore the many many missed steps. I hear from a few employees that it's "someone else's fault" for everything work taking to other tables with issues.

The food was on the other hand was outstanding! I just wish the service, and overall commitment to the guest was as good as the food. Hard pass on the quality of the service!

Definitely wouldn't go back for the service, but...

We were excited for our second visit here, as our first was excellent! This visit the food and margs did not disappoint however our service was not so great and put a bad taste in our mouth. Our server was Ashley and was very pleasant at the beginning, however we noticed she kept ignoring our table when it was time for us to order our meals. Two people on the end of our table even tried to get her attention as she kept walking past us and serving everyone around us. We were already finished with 2 appetizers and more than half done with our cocktails. I left the booth and walked to the front of the restaurant where she was chatting with the hostess and politely ask her if we could order some tacos as the time was getting late. She said in a nice way "of course" but then proceeded to make a bothered facial expression to the hostess about my request. I apologized to her in that moment as it appeared I was inconveniencing her and informed her that I caught her being unprofessional with her expressions regardless of her response. The serve staff seems very young here in general and was not a problem before. We later witnessed her gesturing to our table later and talking negatively to several other employees at the front of the restaurant. I was also missing a taco and the only check in we got from her was asking if we wanted the check, so I asked if she could just take the taco off the check since we were all done eating at that point and were all ready to leave. I cannot say we will be excited to return for future visits based on...

*Updating again - this is still the best restaurant in Olde Town Arvada; salsas are fantastic; all tacos are amazing; enchiladas are great; value is ideal; service is friendly & diligent - this is the best restaurant in a 20 square radius of our house. Thank you!!🙏 *Updating from 4 star to 5 stars; the newer habanero salsa is great for spice; the ribs are amazing; this is probably the best restaurant in Arvada. Glad we have another good restaurant choice in Olde Town! The tacos were delicious, and our server Randy did a great job. The only reasons I didn’t give five stars are: 1. The salsas were a bit bland, and while the tomatillo was the best of the 3 I tried (others being the smoky and verde with pineapple), it still was only about a 4 or 5 on the spice scale of 1-10 - they need an option for a legit spicy salsa for people that enjoy spice. 2. The environment was very chaotic. The music was loud and heavy metal and didn’t really go well for a dinner experience, and the seating in the back hall by the bathroom is undesirable. With booths on one side and high tables on the other, there is only room for one person to pass through, which made it difficult for the server to talk to us since he would have to move anytime someone needed to go by to go to bathroom, bring through food or plates, etc. It’s pretty tight back there.
