Well, we used to order from this place all the time, but we won't be anymore. Last time we ordered, our food came out pretty badly. Lemon chicken was so hard that my kids couldn't chew it and the sesame beef had an extremely strong fishy flavor to it. I called them back and they said they made a note to credit an entree on our next order. That was fine, it felt like a fluke to me because we had never had any complaints before that. About a month later, I called to order for delivery and mentioned the credit to the person who took the call. They handed the phone off to someone else and he abruptly asked me to explain what I was talking about. I told him what had happened and that I'd like to try ordering the sesame beef again, as we'd had it many times before and had only had a problem with it that one time. The gentlemen on the phone began to argue with me that it wasn't a "good idea" for me to order the dish we'd had a complaint with. He got more and more aggressive, questioning me about what would happen if I didn't like it this time. I repeatedly explained to him that we had ordered it many times without an issue, and he persisted, rudely, to argue that I should not order it. Eventually, I told him that I was getting the impression that he felt I was trying to rip him off, and that I'd order from another restaurant. I was blown away by his tone, especially since I'd originally been just fine with only one credit for two pretty much inedible entrees. This is decent Chinese takeout, but if you have any problems with your order, don't expect them to correct the problem or be even remotely...
Read moreWe eat here/get takeout or delivery frequently for many years. This is THE most reliable and consistent delicious Asian food. Out of hundreds of meals here I've never had a bad experience. Everything is always hot, delicious, and exactly as you would expect. The staff is so darned nice!! The delivery is THE FASTEST I've had ANYWHERE. Start setting your table right when you place the order. I used to live a couple blocks away and I would get my food in FIVE MINUTES. Even living further, it's still faster than pizza or anything else. The delivery drivers are very polite. My favorite dish is the green curry, all the Thai curries really. Fantastic!!! You can't go wrong. THE BEST. Don't let the appearance of the restaurant fool you (it's a small dining room in a strip of businesses) the restaurant is clean and quick. #1
Edit: To the bad review from Mike, who specifically quoted my review and tries to say it's fake(!): It's not, I'm a real person, and I really have eaten at YP hundreds of times lol. And I personally know people that regularly eat at YP at least once a week if not more because it's affordable and worth it....
Read moreTerrible, they deserve no stars after this last experience. Food was old and inedible, our rice even smelled like old socks and was so mushy it was like eating potato rice mush. Furthermore every single entree without fail was so squishy on the outside and dried on the inside, like it had sat all day then reheated, only one came hot, the others out of the $50 order were warm at best. They were speedy with service for delivery, almost too speedy with how terrible the food tasted. We literally threw it away and we aren't made of money. So that $50 wasted and now finding something else to do for dinner. Was going to be a treat turned disaster. Also, I did call, let them know the status of the order and the putrid quality of the food. No refund offered, best they did was give me 30% of the order back, and that's after sitting here telling them about every stinky piece of food, it was almost like pulling teeth to even get that $12 back. Used to always have this as my go to Chinese delivery, that will never be again. Disgusting and no remorse for it, they're going downhill, save your money because they just want to take...
