My food was nasty and over cooked when I called to ask for resund the first women speaking clear English to me says no manager on duty and she cannot speak English call back at 2:30pm and hung up on me so called back and same women was again rude demanding I call back that she cannot speak English. So I called back 3:45pm when I got a chance and I got another or maybe the same rude women at this establishment who got even more rude when I asked for my refund as the food was uneatable and she started screaming at me that I need to bring the food back in for her to see what happened to it and after letting her know this was hours ago as I've been waiting the food has been thrown away and she started yelling again that she cannot refund without looking at food. And rudely hung up on me and as i tried calling back several times to get her name and the managers name no one would answer. I will be going in at end of my day to figure this out. This establishment in the past through the many owners has had it's up and downs on quality of food but I have never been treated so...
Read moreOnly a few times in my life have I been treated with such disrespect. I have visited this place more than once a month for the year that I've lived in Old Town Arvada - within walking distance. I've told MANY people about this place and am a source of probably 4 or 5 additional "regulars" that were hesitant to try such a seedy looking place. I will be absolutely sure to encourage them never to step foot in this place again. Open sign on, doors unlocked, customers in the restaurant and they literally told me my only choice was sweet and sour chicken and refused to make/serve me anything else. I used to go there for teriyaki chicken or sesame chicken - but not anymore. It may only be $50-100 in revenue a month that my friends and I are responsible for- but it's beyond that. It's the principle. Have you ever gone into an open restaurant that refuses to serve you? It's offensive, humiliating, and leads you to want to tell every single person you know to tell their friends. I hate this feeling- this place shouldn't be...
Read moreI visited here 30 min before they closed for the evening, so with that in mind I'm not surprised to see there out of a few things, but had no problem cooking up more of whatever I wanted. There was what seemed to be the "norm" language barrier at these types of establishments, but I plunged forward, stammering my order out as confused as the woman taking it. I thought i had said COMBO sweet and sour chicken and rice, but I should have known I didn't get rice with it when they never asked me what kind of rice I wanted. I was with friends who quickly ordered behind me, and I forgot to follow up with my rice question. In the end, I got "ONLY" Sweet and Sour Chicken, without rice. I did get a freshly made order of Cheese Wantons, but even being fresh, these missed the mark. Maybe it was because of the half water, half sweet and sour sauce. It's not a great impression here, but it's not a terrible...
