It was 12:30 on a Friday and the outside manager(?) decided to complain to the person taking orders on the tablet about the cats being backed up and were “blocking” the drive thru exit. Since I was the last car to cross, she loudly gesticulated at me about how I should be leaving, not blocking the exit. There was plenty of space between the next person in line and I was next to the play area window. I said, “no, I’m in line,” and she rolled her eyes and proceeded to yell at the order taker in front of me, which I felt was rude, unprofessional, and unnecessary. They said, “the line isn’t moving, I don’t know what you want me to do,” and she loudly replied, “well they can’t block the exit!” As if anyone could control how other people decide to drive. By the way, while she was yelling at everyone about things they couldn’t control, the line started moving. From the time she yelled at me to the time I drove through the exit (that wasn’t blocked), it took about five minutes. Whatever was going on with her just lost y’all a customer. And to the person taking orders, good for you for not taking that nonsense. She must have been so mad at me that she thought she’d punish me by not giving me sauce. Don’t care. Never coming back. The food was for my daughter, not me, and she’s young enough she won’t miss eating there.
Again, it was 12:30 on a Friday. Girl. It’s going to be busy. If you can’t handle that, don’t work in the food...
Read moreI’ve never had a bad experience at a Chick Fil A until today. Horrible customer service. I used the app to do a curbside order. Everything went through and it even said “an associate is heading to the pickup area” with my order. I couldn’t find the pickup area and when I called they explained there wasn’t one and that I had to come inside to get it. Well I had my sleeping baby in the car seat so I couldn’t. Then they told me to get it from the drive thru. I was in a rush to get somewhere else and was not about to wait in a long line for my order THAT WAS READY. I ended up being put on hold twice for over 5 minutes each time while I heard them talking in the background about how they’re not coming out, etc. I called the third time to speak to the manager and they told me they were “in a meeting”. I told them to cancel my order and that I wanted a call from the manager and they said something along the lines of “ok sorry about that” and were about to hang up before even getting my number for the manager. I told them that and the gir started arguing with me so I hung up. Went to the Dunkin’ Donuts down the street who were very kind and got an iced coffee from them. Word of advice don’t bother with this location and be aware that there is no curbside pickup here even if the app lets you order it!! They won’t even know what you’re...
Read moreNormally always a great trip. BUT not this time...Here's a lack of chic-fil-a, Walmart center, Asheboro. Management training & professionalism. My visits adverage $40-$80ea, this trip was $77. I call in my tray orders & have been picking them up, thru the drive thru, during slow times with NO problems. It was slow. So, thru the drive-thru. They Put in, my call in, 4 pick up at window. I pay for the order at the stand. Then, at the window. The manager comes to the window, she tells me you got to go park, then come inside to get the order, that I've already paid for thru the drive thru, like I've done many times before. Instead of correcting their mistake by saying. Here's your order, but we can't do call in's thru the drive-thru anymore. Here on out, you need to come inside for call in tray orders. Instead disrespect me, with the window wide open & insist the inability to pass the tray thru the window that they had done many times before. Which, I definitely made known. But to deaf ears, that repeated, "you gotta come inside to pick your order up", my paid, in the drive thru, order. Sitting at the wide open drive thru window. Would have got my $ back if it wasn't a 45 min round trip... ZERO professionalism & proper conflict resolve. But I love the product, so I took my shots now, tell ya what...
