Sapporo Express — Restaurant in Asheboro

Me and my friend went In about 40 mins before they were gonna close… told us we couldn’t dine in that it was takeout only bc they had started cleaning we said okay. We saw them serving their rice out of a pot near the cash register….. we thought it was unsanitary but we had already paid for our food and was waiting. We get to the car we start eating. I ordered hibachi steak and chicken. The first bite of meat I had taken was uncooked. The chicken was still pink in the middle and the steak wasn’t fully cooked either. I immediately spit it out and threw it away. They rushed cooking the food and didn’t cook anything properly! Never ordering...

My experience with Japanese restaurants in shopping centers hasn't always been the best - it's pretty hit and miss. This one was a hit. We got a ton of food for the price, and it was all very good. The best part was absolutely the carrots - I could eat those by themselves! They are delicious - the perfect amount of sweet without being too sweet and tender without being mush! I went there today. First, they gave our order to the wrong table, then I got to work and realized that I did not have my credit card. Tried calling them with it saying that they did not have a voicemail set up so I had to take off work and drive to them. The cashier had kept my card!!! They did not apologize and stated that their phone was on hold. They continued to work as if I was not there! I am going to watch my credit card account.
