Firehouse Subs Asheboro — Restaurant in Asheboro

We ordered through Grubhub for delivery. We ordered two Italian subs, but with different toppings. Not Firehouse's fault, but the delivery arrived over an hour later than stated at the time of the order. Cold food is not good.

Upon opening the order, we discovered that the two sandwiches were identical, despite ordering them differently. In addition, we ordered pickles and different cookies. We received two of the same cookies and no pickles.

I don't understand why it's so difficult to read instructions and follow them. This seems to happen at nearly every restaurant I visit.

I absolutely appreciate our food industry workers, as they have a very tough job and we all rely on them regularly. I just don't understand why following simple directions is so difficult. I just wish we could return to the days of excellent customer service and when people took pride...

I had a med ham. Found a piece of red hair in it. I am a pretty nasty person so I just pulled it out and kept going as firehouse is my favorite. Lo and behold there was another piece red hair on the other half. Again I am disgusting so I pulled it off and kept going. And again a third piece of red hair. on a 5in sub I found 3 pieces of red hair. Not even like a clump or anything. Three stray hairs all over pieces of meat of the sub. Hard to not suspect foul play. I ate the whole sub but still I did not enjoy it. I order catering a lot for my business's clients and customers. I will no longer be doing this.

I went back to take a picture of the evidence and realized that instead of three pieces of hair it might have just been one really long one that got cut up when they made the sub....

Convenient location outside of Walmart shopping center. Stopped in a two months ago to grab a bite. With the virus it’s take-out only, of course and expected. Sadly, we waited for about 6 mins and still no greeting. There were only two customers in front of us and three employees. We eventually just walked out. Came back yesterday to grab food. Meatball sub was made right. Chicken salad was good. However, ordered a small roast beef that was nothing what was ordered. Even the receipt showed what was on the order. Small sub had meat, onions, mustard and mayo. That was it. Asked for no onions, mustard only, pickles, olives, cheese, add turkey. We live a good 15 min from this location so to go back up there would have been a waste. After two poor visits, we just...
