Last week was my first chance to visit the recently built Asheboro location. I used the app to place an order for two kids meals and a drink for myself. I placed the order for pickup in an hour, so I’d have enough time to get off work and swing by on my way home. The food had to have been prepared the moment the order came in, because when I arrived to pick up my order, all the food was room temperature. And I mean ALL of it. I chose a tangerine as a side for each of the meals, and one with milk and other with apple juice. The two hot meals were placed in a paper bag, with the fruit and drinks sitting on the lid, and the whole bag stapled shut and sitting on a shelf. When I arrived on time for my order, the cold milk, juice, and fruit had condensated a sweaty mess on top of the cardboard dome of the kids meal and were completely room temperature, and the hot food inside the food containers had steamed a soggy mess inside the boxes and were also room temperature. And the cashier had to be reminded I ordered a drink, didn’t bother checking her order slip for what it was and just said ‘well what did you order?’ before bringing me back a lemonade that wasn’t full and barely had ice. I didn’t notice the issue with the kids meals until I arrived home and opened it up. Nothing was salvageable and after a long day it was less effort to scrape together something for the family at home verses going back to Chipotle for a second serving of terrible service and certain food poisoning. It was an absolute waste of time and money and I won’t be bothering to go back. Save your money and find literally anywhere else to eat, this location is a guaranteed...
Read moreLong Post For being my first time of trying Chipotle thanks to our daughter buying us dinner I give this place a three...she ordered online an told me it be ready ten mins...I get there stood for three mins while no one greeted or acknowledged finally one lady that was making food to the left asks do u need something I said pick order for ** J then the young lady just kept working, then finally another young girl that was busy filling a container asked had I been helped I said yes thank you. So for the lack of customer service I said two..First time ever being there so I decided to look the place over....the food that was in the containers behind the glass well I just would say one word DRY ok more to say ...the beans an chicken looked like it had been there since opening this morning. Oh no honey...I told my daughter it was Soo kind an sweet of her to do dinner tonight for the family but next time we will walk in an ask for fresh food cause there is no reason that nothing looked edible at the time of 5:10pm ..so with not having fresh food an the shock of the look of the food I didn't get to look around at the rest of the building..was confused about the door being locked an only one to use..for me an my disability made it difficult..an the ramp to the parking lot was blocked by the cars parking so close to each other in a tiny lot..I did like what she picked out for us an would want it again but I want fresh food if paying that price an they advertise they have fresh ingredients so next walking in to look for the fresh or...
Read moreOrdered 4 burritos on the app and one kids meal- it was around $60. I picked up and brought it home (40 mins round trip) only to get home and realize that none of the burritos are labeled. Fine, I opened them up and was able to figure out who’s was who’s, but half of them was missing some sort of ingredient. One was missing guacamole (which of course is extra) and one was missing fajita veggies. I even set for a later pick up time because I knew I was at least 30 Minutes from being there to pick up, so they even had extra time to make them. I called the store to see if I could talk to someone there to let them know, but the phone rang for 3 minutes straight before hanging up on me. Super frustrating as this wasn’t a cheap trip, nor a quick trip for me, and then I had to disassemble burritos and find out that they were made incorrectly and missing ingredients I specifically paid extra for.
Edited to add: one burrito was also missing all salsas, so 3/4 were incorrect. I’d appreciate a number to call to get in touch with someone in management...
