Creative Creamery — Restaurant in Asheboro

It was my first time there since living in the Asheboro area. The milkshake that I got was absolutely amazing and definitely do not regret my decision!! Will for sure return again!!

Also, I want to congratulate the two young ladies that were working the night I went (Saturday 3/8). They did an absolute amazing job providing service for all the customers in there. When we walked in they were working hard to get those fancy milkshakes made and other orders completed. I say all of this to hopefully give some words of encouragement to them and to let them know to not let that rude customer get to them. They handled that situation so much better than I would have.

This customer in particular got upset because the young ladies would not take their shakes to them. Yes, there was a large table that had ordered and they did take their shakes to them, BUT that was also before they had 15 other orders to fill including this particular customer, myself and my two friends, and they were working as hard as they could go. This particular person could have gotten their lazy butt up, grabbed their order off the counter and went and sat back down. Instead, they let it sit there and melt while everyone else's orders were being fulfilled, including mine and my two friends, and then created a scene afterwards, demanded a refund and gave those poor girls a hard time over it for no reason. The shop is very clean and the ice cream was great...not $10 great but inflation I get it. I'm giving 1 star for the service. I went in with a group of three. It wasn't busy. There was one couple in front of us. We ordered one plain milkshake and two loaded milkshakes to go. There was three on staff. Very polite and got right to making our order. A large crowd came it after we had already ordered and I can only assume they were the owners and their family or friends because some walked into the back where they make the shakes. Some stayed up front where we were and ordered. They all got their ordered while we continued to wait. One lady ordered a banana split and then proceeded to the back. Came to the creamery and bought 3 ice creams and 2 milkshakes. I waited 30 minutes for a stuff milkshake. After requesting them to make it they still were discussing whether or not I paid for it while the ice cream was seating in the milkshaker cup melting. After a few minutes we requested to take a jar home due to their inconvenience that we couldn't drink the shake there anymore because by this time it was past closing. They told us that we would have to pay an additional $3 if we wanted the jar. We're beyond disappointed because we paid $30+,for this visit and they still showed no empathy the fact they still wanted to charge more for there mistake.
