THE WORST!! The experience was very sad, When I went to place my order, A young girl (in a blue manager shirt) was talking on her cell phone and even told me to wait a second while she finished her call. It took 7(SEVEN) minutes to get the order! I could hear cursing from the employees in the back. I counted 8 employees and only TWO were trying to be productive. There were ZERO napkins at the drink station and NO tea. Ketchup was even splattered on the walls and all over the counter. The dinning area was dirty and there was not even one table that had been cleaned and I had to ask a guy behind the counter for napkins to clean my own table and seat. The floor was nasty with food lying around creating a hazard. I watched a young man clock in and then IMMEDIATELY go outside to smoke a small cigar. 6 minutes later after he had finished his smoke break, he went straight behind the counter (no hand washing!) Even with all this lack of ambition and care for the customer...with ALL this time on their hands to make a hamburger, it was put together as if they had NO training whatsoever!! EVERY customer was upset about their service and I saw 3 people walk out after waiting too long to get served. I had to find a way to WARN people about this store which is how I found this site...I will be telling EVERYONE I see for a while as well....FB,...
Read moreIt is McDonald's, so I don't expect much, but let's talk about why the establishment was closed at 6:45a this morning due to "a lack of help." I hope this lack of coverage is because the three employees I witnessed being screamed at and degraded in front of customers yesterday (by what appeared to be a shift/store manager) walked out. I hope to God they walked out. I hope that their manager gets rammed by HR and their Regional Director for their behavior as well as their failure to open the establishment.
I swear, if my business establishment failed to open I would be fired without question. At the end of the day if you need to staff a store with only shift managers and pay out overtime in order to stay open, then that's just what you have to do. It's a manager's duty to accept the inconvenience of working even when you have not been scheduled. It's a manager's duty to anticipate staffing shortages and plan proactively. It's important for a business to be both consistent and accommodating to customer needs. You can't tell me that with the couple dozen McDonald's in the region there was absolutely no way to get extra coverage from other managers. Christ, we were down several employees on a Monday and our regional director flew down at 5:00a to help staff the store and ensure we open. That's how important it is to not lock...
Read moreEvery single time I've gone to this location, it has been a bad experience. First, they neglected to fix the broken microphone at the drive thru for a good 3 weeks, and on top of that, the employees weren't the least bit accommodating or even polite for that matter (what happened to customer service??). The next time I went, I waited at the window for exactly 13 minutes until the girl standing inside decided to open it and accept my payment (I only had a 30 minute break from work, so I had to shovel food down because of this) and did not apologize. Again, highlighting the lack of customer service training given. The time I went after that, nobody was even taking orders at the drive thru. And they only had one lane operational. The other played a message that the location was closed. Keep in mind, this was at 2:30 in the afternoon. I will not be returning to this location and I probably will not be returning to the corporation again due to incredibly poor customer service and speed of service (after all, its called FAST food, not "wait 15 minutes...
