I enjoyed dinner here with my wife tonight, I work in Aspen and manage two local hotels. We live downvalley so rarely get to treat ourselves to a nice restaurant experience.

We often recommend restaurants to our guests staying at the hotel, so wanted to experience it for myself, in addition, my company treated me to a nice gift certificate as a thank you for 10 years of service to the company.

Let me say right off the start, the food was absolutely amazing. Everything we enjoyed was prepared perfectly and had amazing flavor components and fresh ingredients.

The service and experience, while friendly, we're below what I would expect at this level of restaurant. A few highlights -

I made a reservation in advance and specifically requested an outdoor table. I clearly indicated the reservation was for two people. My wife checked in just ahead of me and she was seated at an indoor table with service for four that was not removed until we asked for the extra place settings to be taken away. While we would have liked to have dined outdoors as requested, we decided just to take the table and move forward. There were plenty of tables outside and several other guests sitting out there, no explanation was ever given for the change in reservation.

I had also mentioned that we were celebrating a special occasion, however no mention or acknowledgement of that was ever made during the meal.

Our server, while l friendly, did not seem to have a tremendous knowledge of menu and ingredients and simply told us everything we ordered was amazing, it actually ended up being amazing, but would have liked to have had maybe a few more descriptions of what were in each of the entrees.

Order was taken by server, but food was delivered to table by a food runner who basically made no verbal engagement and just plopped the dishes down unceremoniously in front of us.

Entrees were brought to table before we were even half through our burrata appetizer. Seems like timing was a bit off and made us feel a bit rushed trying to finish our appetizer while our entrees sat on the table.

While none of these were grievous errors and as mentioned before the food itself was lovely, I still left feeling that it could have been so much more of a wonderful experience, especially at this price point.

I leave this review in the hopes that a few tweaks in the service and acknowledgement of reservation requests could result in a truly...

Duemani quickly became one of our favorite spots in Aspen—so much so that we went FOUR times within the first few weeks of our stay! This Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, with a special focus on seafood, truly knows how to deliver on fresh, balanced, and beautifully executed dishes. Every meal we had was an absolute delight, with each dish highlighting bold yet harmonious flavors that left us wanting more.

A few standouts for me were the Seabass Tempura—perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and flaky on the inside. The Roasted Artichokes were another highlight, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And let’s not forget the garlic toast, paired with a confited bulb of garlic. It was a simple yet brilliant touch that elevated the entire experience.

The ambiance at Duemani is another reason we kept coming back. The vibe is laid-back and loungy, ideal for winding down after a busy day in Aspen. The decor features clean lines and ambient lighting that creates a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely dinner with friends or loved ones.

The team at Duemani clearly puts a lot of care into every dish, and the overall dining experience is one that blends exceptional food with a relaxed and inviting environment. I can't recommend this place enough—whether you're a local or just visiting, Duemani is a must-try for anyone looking for fantastic Mediterranean seafood in a...

I had an Aspen Business Connect holiday party at Duemani and am deeply appreciative for Carlos, Hana, Jason, Darko, Chef Pak, Nick, and the entire front and back of house team for orchestrating a truly magical evening. Their meticulous attention to detail and gracious hospitality exceeded our expectations in every way.

What started as a request for 1 comped drink turned into an offering of 2 types of wine and 2 custom batched cocktails. Our simple ask for a few light bites on the bar transformed into an exquisite selection of fine dining passed canapés. The team's generosity knew no bounds as they extended the hours from 5-6:30 to the entire evening, topped off with an unexpected karaoke party in the private dining room.

This experience epitomizes the essence of locals taking care of locals, and I wholeheartedly recommend considering them for your own private dinner celebration in the cozy wine room downstairs, attending their epic New Year's Eve party, or simply becoming a regular at the bar for their...

Duemani just reopened for the winter season, and it’s more stunning than ever. Think coastal charm upstairs with an updated, relaxed vibe, and a grotto-inspired wine cellar below that stops you in your tracks. We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here on Saturday, and it was pure magic. We savor special opportunities to dine out—food, service, and atmosphere matter—and Duemani delivered in every way. From oysters and hamachi crudo to lobster and lamb, we explored a menu of Mediterranean flavors that pays homage to Italy, Greece, Spain, Morocco, and France. Every plate? A celebration of the coast. Duemani means two hands, but it felt like the whole team touched our table—from the gracious host to the sommelier, service staff, and kitchen. We were welcomed, wowed, and completely at ease. If you’re looking for the perfect spot to celebrate, connect, or just savor something special, this is it. Already counting down to my next visit.
