As usual, ordered the meatzza. This was always perfect before, but lately when we order it leaves much to be desired. First, we always get extra cheese. The past several times we have ordered and paid for extra cheese, we don't get it. The excuse for this is always that "it already has extra cheese on it". Yes, we know, and yet we want even more cheese than that - not to mention that you charge us for that even more extra cheese but fail to provide it. Lastly, several times our cheese has been burnt so badly as to ruin the entire pizza.
Now, all that said - I prefer Papa John's because they always get it right and extra cheese means extra cheese - on top of their already overly generous portion of cheese! Sadly though, my wife doesn't like Papa John's Sauce - so we compromise and we get Dominoes instead. How is that a compromise when I have never been much of a fan of Dominoes? The same way that I hate cats - so we compromised and got a cat!
In conclusion, Dominoes has never been my favorite pizza place, but the Athens location had previously raised the bar and been just satisfactory. That's become a thing of the past, as recent changes leave their pizza barely a step above Little Caesar's hot and ready crap. They have become stingy with the toppings, never give us the extra cheese that we pay for, and - more often than not - the pizza (especially the cheese) is burned beyond being edible.

Read moreFour of us went to Domino's today for lunch to try the new Dine in area. We should have realized what we were in for since there was only a few people there for lunch. If I could give it zero stars I would. We ordered 4 pizzas and 2 two liters and some cups. Over $52 worth of food. If there going to have a dine in area they need to have fountain drinks or carry 20 oz drinks instead of 2 liter drinks. At least they had cups but no ice. I wonder what the cups cost us? They didn't have any salt which a couple of us would have liked. That would have gave the pizza some taste at least. We ordered two of the pizzas with extra tomato sauce. They must have thought that meant no sauce. There was very little to no sauce on them. The TV in the dining area was nice but it was showing cartoons at lunch on a Monday. I think all the kids should be in school then. At least put it on a channel that adults might be interested in. We all agreed that the sound that plays I guess when somebody calls in could be changed to something less annoying to diners. Our next visit to a Domino's will be to the Etowah one. So far they have done ok there. We've had our first and last dine in...
Read moreI order pizza from dominoes quite often. I have never been so disappointed and Domino services as I was tonight. I had ordered a medium pizza with pepperoni and ham on it and an order of cheesy bread. The girl that took my order told me that the medium pizzas were on special for $8.99 and then I ordered the cheesy bread which she did not tell me how much the cheesy bread was. But when the order was completed my order come to $31. Now the last time I did math that didn't equal up. She said that they was a delivery charge. I've never paid for a delivery charge and all the years that I have been doing dominoes and it seems very funny to me that domino's pizza is the only pizza joint that charges 7 to the $10 for delivery when nobody else in town does because I have called them personally and asked when you can go to Little Caesars and get a large pizza for $6.49 so I advise everybody to go there. The cheesy breads just as good as dominoes is because I am not happy with dominoes and probably will not buy anything else from...
