Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Athens

Ok Hello. This is going to be a long one. I know how Pizza Hut works. I have been going to Pizza Hut a very very long time soo many years. I know how they work what the Pizza Hut expectation and their standards to the full. My ex husband tell all the different stories and experiences he had with Pizza Hut. My ex husband experiences was management for over 20 years. I know how this restaurant works. So here is my one of my stories of many here this Pizza Hut. I don’t get upset easily. But this freaking pissed me off !! I came to this restaurant last Tuesday. Everything was great when I came in the atmosphere was good and clean. I gone there by my self just me. So I got to my table it was in in the back on the right the other side of the door next to the TV. There’s a server her name is Connie. And she told me sorry about the wait there was 70 kids in here. So I will make you wait. I have to do a break for 5 minutes and I will come back to you. I said OK that’s fine. I understand how you need to take break. After 20 minutes are done she came over to my order and I said I want a supreme pizza with Pepsi and wings. She didn’t ask me bone in or boneless rings. I was waiting for her to ask that, but she decided to walk away without saying word and took my order. The whole time she have a very mad stare at me the whole time she didn’t smile at once her face was very mean. She came back with my pizza, wings, and Pepsi. My wings was boneless in a Togo box not a dine in plate. So she left I start eating my food. I asked her can I have a bone in to go order it and she gone. About two minutes later she refill my drink and about 2 1/2 hours later she hasn’t come yet. So I saw one of the other employees so I asked him. can I have the check for my wings because my server didn’t give it to me. He gets it for me. About another hour gone past my server in the beginning it DIDNT show up for 3 1/2 hours . so I got there at 1:30 and left the restaurant at 6:00. so I decide to go up to the front and ask her to go box for my wings to go cup for my Pepsi my server Connie isn’t there. And one of the cooks was talking to another cook and he said apparently her server didn’t tell any of us she got a table left, and that is first time in half to me so this is my bad review of Connie at this particular Pizza Hut restaurant in Athens, Tennessee. This is very very unacceptable as a piece of hut customers going to Pizza Hut for years with my ex husband experience. I’m going to another bad review of today, experience with Connie. If you want to check the second review of Connie. EDT SECOND BAD review of Connie. TWISTED END OF THE STORY. So this is the second review of Connie. so today we did a celebration lunch with my family because they graduate. So my husband and I and my kids gone to my table like the first review. And of course Connie so up we told her what we wanted and she keep trying to get us to spend a lot more money then we wanted. So we gave her our order. so that’s the first and last time we saw her at our table. Apparently one of the cooks, came out and hand us our food. And I asked him where is Connie she’s doing a very, very horrible job. And I asked him can I speak to the manager because the second time she did this. And he said I’m sorry our manager is on vacation, but Connie is an “ACTIVE MANGER “ right now. My husband and I looked at each other mad as hell. And about that point, we told the cook to get the Togo box for our food after we heard that we got up really quickly from the table. My family and I normally clean up the table to make the server have the easiest job to clean the table. But this is the first time in my life. I left a dirty table for a server and service. I don’t get mad but past 2 weeks it made me mad as hell with Connie the “ACTIVE MANGER/SERVER” I will come back again in a few weeks. If I have the same bad experience like last week and today, I will call the area manager rep. This is getting ridiculous. This been happening past 7 yrs bad service and bad server The end A BIG SHOUT OUT TO TERRY...

DO NOT waste your money here!! I don't ever leave bad reviews, because I understand people have rough days, but I am today. Our server, Will, was THE MOST disrespectful and terrible waiter I have ever encountered. He seemed amiable enough at the start, and maybe I should have taken hint at how he had a slight attitude while taking our order, but he never filled our drinks or brought out plates (my husband had to go behind the counter and ASK for some), brought our pizza out at an only slightly warm temperature, AND it was the wrong order. When it was time for the check and I let him know the order was wrong, (cuz he never came out any other time) he got snippy with us and told my husband "sorry man you need to learn to speak up." We went to the register to pay, and I kindly mentioned that his response was rude and suggest that he read the order back if there's any confusion and he cut me off, and was emphatically saying "no thanks" "not today" "not interested" and was being COMPLETELY out of line. My husband is a very easy going man, but he stormed us out before I said something I'd regret.

As someone who's worked in the service industry, I don't expect perfect service, nor do I always agree with the concept of "the customer is right".. But his actions were beyond inappropriate, and the pizza wasn't even very good.

We stopped in here on a Friday evening in October. There was two or three other tables of people eating when we arrived. As we got seated we overheard another table complaining about some things but couldn't tell excalty what the issue was. The waitress who seated us took our drink order as we looked over the menu's. However it took a bit to get the drinks, even another waitress came by to get a drink order during that time. It didn't seem like they had very many working and between people coming to pick up orders and the table service it was kinda hectic for them. We ordered our pizza and bread sticks, to which again it took a bit for it to get brought out. During our time there were also people complaining who had came in to get orders as well. The food however was great, no complaints about the food whatsoever. We did however not get a refill on drinks, until flight as we were leaving and got to go cups. I understand completely if they are short handed, makes good sense, and since I don't know the situation I will not knock them on that. I will just say it wasn't a top notch experience by any means! But might be willing to give another chance when traveling through just to see what difference's...
