I hate to put a bad review on restaurants but I absolutely had an awful time here. My cousin had a reservation for this place for a group of 15. A pre made reservation not to mention. We had one single server to handle an entire group of 15. And it’s not the server to blame I’m sure she is better with smaller parties but it was too much for her for this group. It took an awful long time to get anything we ordered because there was so many mix ups with the different tables as well as things being forgotten about. But again she is human and only one person. This place does not mention on their menu that everything is A La Carte AKA everything sold separately. That is something that you should mention as a restaurant so it won’t be such a huge surprise that you’re paying 4$ for a baguette and 5$ for sparkling water. You can get decent food but they will have you season everything on the side yourself to your liking. You can get a very nice pasta but be prepared to pay for anything you would like included with that pasta. You can get an amazing main course but that is all just that main course no sides. The drinks are absolutely overpriced for how small they are. Absolutely no issue on the quality of the food but it should be mentioned it’s sold separately ! During our time there it was so hot and humid in their outside seating area. They did provide huge construction fans but it just made it absolutely loud and annoying because your screaming at those next to you. It came to my surprise that when it was time to leave the establishment all of a sudden they turned on the AC that was outside the entire time so that threw us all off a little bit because that means they were able to have that area cooled down the entire time they just choose to give us big fans blowing around hot air. When it was time for the checks everyone had so many things that we did 1 did not ever receive or 2 never ordered to begin with because she got a lot of things mixed up. But we all just were like it’ll be such a huge commotion to fix this so we all just paid and left. One of the biggest things that annoyed everyone was the smell on the patio. It seems the restaurant sits on top of a sewer line or something but about every 25 mins there is just a big breeze of raw sewage and it makes you loose your appetite. Towards the end of our questionable “fine dining” experience that is when an entire team of bussers and servers randomly started to come and help our poor server that was alone for majority of the night. I hope if you’ve read to the end of this review that you think twice about coming here. It seems they have a preference of people they give a better...
Read moreI cannot say enough good things about Bar Ti Amo.
We recently held our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the restaurant. Bar Ti Amo exceeded every expectation and made our rehearsal dinner and welcome party absolutely unforgettable.
From the very beginning, Marco (the owner) and Lindsay (the manager) went above and beyond to help us craft the perfect evening. They were both easy to communicate with and were willing to have a few calls early on and throughout the process to outline the vision and the execution plan.
On the day of our event, it unexpectedly snowed, and Marco arrived early to hand-shovel the parking lot to ensure our guests had safe access and parking if needed. Lindsay went the extra mile by having some of the staff stay at her house nearby the night before, just in case the roads froze over, ensuring that we had a full team staffed and available that night to open the restaurant. Their commitment to making our night perfect was truly above and beyond.
The food was absolutely fantastic—every dish was prepared to perfection, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about dinner. The drinks were exceptional too. The restaurant is incredibly charming as-is but the staff decorated it for us beautifully. It was clear that the team put so much thought and effort into every small detail to make the evening, decoration, and ambiance special for us. Every staff member was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel special and taken care of the whole night.
If you are looking for a restaurant that not only serves incredible food and drinks but also genuinely cares about its guests, Bar Ti Amo is the place. They made our wedding weekend so memorable, and we will be forever grateful. We can’t...
Read moreWas the GM off this evening? Did they care that they set their staff up for failure? Are they aware that being upfront to manage expectations would have prevented many disappointed customers? We had a reservation for Valentine’s Day. And yet they were an hour behind in seating folks. Got to a table so excited to dine in. Server went looking for glasses and brought back one with obvious lipstick prints and another smothered and covered in greasy hand prints. Oof. We order drinks. The server writes down our request. We request clean glasses. The server comes back and asks what we wanted to drink (but wait - what were they writing down the first time?). I asked for club soda with mint and lime — and am then given the ingredients to make the drink tableside myself 🥴Ten minutes later the server returns to tell us it’ll be at least an hour for whiskey neat to be sent to the table (oh…) and an hour before food would arrive. Why not tell patrons the reality when they’re waiting to be seated? Why not even tell us when we initially sat at the table? Or anytime before we sat for 20 min wasting away and hungry after the excessively long wait? It’s unfair to customers and embarrassing that your servers would have to endure this painful experience (and bear the brunt of the blame and likely have to deal with crummy tips and attitudes as a result). It’s unbelievable that a situation like this could occur given all the information available about expected reservations, anticipated time spent dining etc. How could such egregious mistakes be made? Do better Bar Ti Amo—for the hardworking ppl who work for you and the customers who cared to spend their time at your establishment. What a...
