Update (as of 2/25/25):After a less-than-stellar experience at Iberian Pig on Valentineโs Day, my partner and I were hesitant to return. However, after reaching out to corporate, we received a thoughtful email from the General Manager, Maddie, who acknowledged our concerns, addressed the issues with her team, and invited us to give the restaurant another chance. Understanding that holidays can be exceptionally busy for restaurants, we appreciated her proactive approach and decided to return the very night she contacted us.
The difference was night and day. Our visit on Presidentโs Day was an entirely new experienceโmore relaxed, intimate, and enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the stage for a much-improved dining experience. Our server, Dayana, was exceptional. Her bubbly personality, knowledgeable recommendations, and attentive service elevated our evening. She introduced me to my new favorite cocktail, Sueรฑos Azules, and a must-try tapas dish, Coca Con Setas. My partner also discovered a new favoriteโthe Cordero, which was a delightful surprise he thoroughly enjoyed.
Meeting Maddie in person further reinforced our positive experience. She was incredibly kind, engaging in light conversation that made us feel genuinely welcomed. This visit felt like a Valentineโs Day do-over, and we couldnโt be more appreciative. Iberian Pig truly redeemed itself, and we look forward to dining here again.
2/14/25:
Weโve dined at Iberian Pig multiple times, but our recent visit on Valentineโs Day was by far the worst experience weโve ever had.
Our reservation was at 8:30 PM, and despite arriving only 10 minutes late due to traffic, we were seated promptly. Our server acknowledged us, answered a few questions, and took our drink and charcuterie board order. While our drinks arrived in a timely manner, the charcuterie board took 30 minutesโand was missing an item we specifically ordered.
Meanwhile, another table that was seated after us received not only their drinks but their entire order well before we even saw a single entrรฉe. When we inquired about the delay, our server provided a vague and unconvincing excuse, which was especially frustrating given the efficiency with which other tables were being served.
We escalated our concerns to the manager, Christopher, who came by to โcheck on our order.โ However, within minutes of his visit, we watched as the other tableโalready served before usโreceived yet another dish while we were still waiting.
We understand that Valentineโs Day can be a busy evening, but that does not excuse misleading explanations or such a stark discrepancy in service. This experience was unacceptable, and quite frankly, insulting given our past visits. If this is the new standard, weโll take our...
ย ย ย Read moreAs a Barcelona native who had never gone to a "Spanish" restaurant in the states, I didn't know what expectations to have when my American fiancรฉ told me that we would be dining at the Iberian Pig for our anniversary while I visit him for Christmas. To sum it up in a sentence, I had a deeply American experience coupled with Spanish-inspired food. For me, the Iberian Pig is a place to forget. When one goes to happy hour at the Iberian Pig, it is time to "turn on, tune in, and drop out" with some chalices of vino-heavy Sangria's, to quote the great Timothy Leary. It's a place to not think about the hustle and bustle of ordinary life. It's a place to not worry about the kids you left at home with the babysitter that is scrolling TikTok with them while they all peacefully let their brains melt away. It's a place to not think about the slightly burnt patatas bravas probably not cooked in olive oil. Don't think about the fact that the menu doesn't include tortilla de patatas despite being one of Spain's most popular dishes. Don't think about the fact that the croquetas Ibรฉricas have a spherical (as opposed to cylindrical) shape without any jamรณn. Don't think about the fact that the pan con tomate is drenched in oil with a layer of store-bought tomato paste. Don't even ask yourself why there is a painting of a Mexican-appearing gentleman with a Mariachi hat in one of the restrooms. Most importantly, don't think about the fact that the jamรณn ibรฉrico (which you are paying extra for) is not real jamรณn ibรฉrico and is more akin to the disgusting Italian prosciutto. Don't think about the fact that they hide the flavor of the false jamรณn ibรฉrico by putting spicy oil on top of it. At the Iberian Pig, ignorance is bliss. Like with the American Dream, you may objectively be paying for and living a lie, but the reality they offer is good enough to believe. Pay extra for the "jamรณn ibรฉrico," and indulge on it while you sip on your American cocktail and gaze upon the finest sugar daddy's that Buckhead has to offer. On another note, the staff there are genuinely nice. Upon hearing my grievance with the jamรณn, a cordial Mexican lady came out and admitted that the jamรณn ibรฉrico is not like the one that I am accustomed to from my pueblo in Spain, and she even gave us free deserts, neither of which were Spanish (which she acknowledged) along with scratching off the jamรณn ibรฉrico and pan con tomate from the check. I really admire the refund culture that exists in America.
TLDR: If you want an approximation of Spanish food, this is a decent place, but it might be a better investment to put the money you were going to spend here into a savings account for a...

We dined here for a second time yesterday during Jamon Happy Hour, and let me say that this experience was much better! We were so happy with our server (tall blonde). She checked on us both frequently and at the right time, shortly after plates were delivered and again after we had finished them to make sure everything was up to par. We ordered in stages, and her presence allowed us to discuss the intricacies of the dishes with her and receive recommendations based on our preference. She obviously has a knack for hospitality and her enthusiasm for the food was contagious. The kitchen had run out of crusty bread to dip in the sauce from the gambas al ajillo, so they brought us what ended up being thin pita chips which didn't really work the same way, but it was nice of them to show the extra effort and we appreciated it. Very happy with our experience this time. Thank you so much CHG!
We dined here for NYE. Overall, the food was delicious! We ordered several different tapas and the only one that left us underwhelmed was the pulpo; the small piece was overcooked and the larger piece was chewy. The gambas, croquetas, and empanadas were delicious, as were the brussel sprouts. What was disappointing for us was the service! Our server hardly interacted with us during our two hour stay. Multiple dishes were dropped off, eaten, and then taken away by other staff without so much as an "everything good?" from our server. We were so surprised as we could see him checking on other tables near us the whole time, but never ours. We felt forgotten about. Two other small detractions: our charcuterie was delivered before the drinks, and dessert was served without spoons, so we had to find someone and ask for them. Overall, because the food was so tasty, and the rest of the staff so helpful, we left happy with our experience, but would like to see these issues fixed if we come back....
