Went there today on a recommendation from a co-worker whose a regular. Before I go into details I'd like to say in advance that the pizza I ordered tasted great. The crust was a little dark on the bottom but overall really good.
I ordered an odd pizza topping combination (Italian sausage and pesto). The cashier who took the order asked if they cook the sausage over the cheese then drizzle the pesto on top would that be ok. Sounded great to me. So I sat down and waited on my pizza. After 10 minutes the server comes with an Italian sausage and pesto pizza but proceeds to tell me that they cooked the pesto sauce over the cheese and put the sausage on top instead of the way the cashier described. Then she said they are making another pizza the correct way and if I'd like to eat on this pizza until the other is ready. At this point I'm pretty sure I was looking confused but asked how long before the second pizza arrives. She said 5 minutes. So I said well I can't eat 2 pizzas but if you box up this one and I'll take it to go. She said sure. 10 minutes later here comes the "correct" pizza. It was piping hot so I believe it was truly another pizza or the same one thrown in the oven again perhaps? I asked her where was the other pizza and she said "Oh we couldn't let you have that one to go."
The problem I had was the staff created a situation that honestly should have been never been discussed with me unless I complained. Only Chef Gordon Ramsay would have noticed that the sauce wasn't drizzled over the sausage. So instead of having a memorable experience of great pizza I'm left feeling awkward about what just happened. Same pizza or not. And would I have...
Read moreFirst time checking this place out. I ordered a veggie panini with pasta. First impression, clean establishment. The two young females at the register however, not very “customer service” oriented at all - at least not with me anyway. Needless to say, I surely did not feel welcomed there.
One of the girls took my order as if she had an issue. Having a bad day sis? I sat and waited for what felt like forever so I went to see if anything was ready. The girl at the register was greeting and happily taking orders for the older crowd. She made no mention of anything to me about my food being ready.
I sat facing the register for another 15 minutes after she rung up the other customers. She then decides to nonchalantly bring over my food, which sat behind the register this whole time. She handed it to me without a word - no “here ya go” , “have a nice day” ... nothing. I honestly don’t see how people like that even have jobs.
I won’t be returning to this location. I was told to go to the one on Moreland instead. Two stars only because the...
Read moreNormally I love this place.. The food is yummy and it's quick. But Little Azio's may have lost a few customers based on my visit to the Northside location. After ordering a Philly cheese steak and salad pictured on the menu screen, my friend received the wrong order with a ham sandwich instead. When she requested the correct sandwich for her order, the manager on duty told her there is a disclaimer stating they aren't responsible for incorrect orders.. He wouldn't prepare the correct sandwich and was perfectly fine with one his customers being dissatisfied. Although this didn't happen to me, it still put a damper on the meal my friends and I were looking forward to. I can't believe this policy is in place at all, let alone upheld. Own your mistakes and make them right, Little Azio's. I think most people know the difference between a ham sandwich and a Philly...
