I went there for the first time about ten days ago, ordered the bacon cheddar and apple croissant, and it was awesome. I got another a few days later, but the egg yolk was completely raw and runny, so it squirted out ALL over me when I bit into it, which completely grossed me out, so I threw away the 12 dollar croissant. Since I was at work, and couldn't change clothes, I also had the joy of wearing it all day. I understand that these things happen, so I tried again today. In hindsight, I should have checked it before leaving the store, but when I got home, I discovered that not only was the yolk completely raw, but there was less than half the bacon of the previous ones, which really didn't matter because I hate raw egg, so into the trash went another 12 dollars. Sadly, like some of the other reviewers, our sandwiches were covered in sauce, messy, and fell apart. All toppings fell off into the cardboard/paper tray. Literally, on the first bite for both sandwiches. I had to ask for forks. The decadent sauces made the panini bread (was more like a heated hoagie vs. pressed panini style) and croissants soggy. Maybe if we had made it a bowl like the menu offered?
The latte was great. Just, super disappointed I spent $35.00 (with tip) to throw half of our food away because it was so soggy and turned into a wet bread salad in our paper plate containers.
The staff also looked offended I had to ask for forks when I mentioned the sauce issue. No “Im sorry or we will make it again” offering. Just a dead pan face at me and a fork handed to me.
Oh, and only bottled water for twice the cost of Candler Park Market.
Maybe a rough morning as a team? Maybe we need to try it again?
