Shane's Rib Shack- Edgewood — Restaurant in Atlanta

Omg!!! I feel like I know Shane Personally. Like he was a rogue Taste Bud that jumped from my mouth and created the Perfect BBQ Restaurant. I’ve been about 5 times in the last 3 weeks alone. So I’ve tried a ton of dishes and gotten a pretty full experience.

1. PERFECT Customer Service from EVERYONE!

2. They let me try a couple side dishes just to see if I like it. (Try doing that at Wendys lol)

3. Perfect tasting food. -Perfect juiciness in the tenders. And they’re huge. Perfect outside crunch/crisp. (I recommend the Buff Q sauce) -Fries are REAL fries. Like my mom used to make at home. -Peach Cobbler has perfect amount of consistency and slight crunch in the crumble. -Brownies are so moist (just wish they had pecans too). -Chicken Salad sandwich was so good. Ton of chicken. -Pulled Pork has no fat and is so tender. -YOU GET FREE TEXAS TOAST -Brunswick Stew is Amazing. Ton of meat. -Green Beans & Potato Salad are delicious. (And I don’t even eat vegetables lol) ...don’t judge me. -Lastly, the RIBS are so good. Not fatty. Big. Lot of meat.

Only Con I have is the Peach Tea could use a lil more flavor... but hey... With everything else ....

Look... stop reading this review and go place an order. I Kid you NOT! This is my new favorite spot!! (PS I’ve only been to the one on Carolina Street but can’t imagine the others being different considering the care they’ve placed In providing all of this) This makes me want to...

I walked in and was looking over the menu

A server walked and asked what will you have

I asked about a sampler j used to get

Haven’t been to this Shane location in years

I asked for the sampler without pull pork add tenders and ribs. When I got my order it had pull pork

How may bones do I get again with sampler. She replied 4

I asked for a half rack of ribs , she stated you can’t buy the ribs by the bone. I stated I know as to why I asked for a half rack of ribs

She stayed the total and I decided to use my card and I asked could she break a 20 bill

I HANDED her the MONEY just like I handed her my CARD. Which she placed back in my hand . She placed the break down of 20 on the counter I looked at the money and I looked at her. She then place my receipt on the counter and nudged the money towards me

Can someone explain to the cashier how rude and unprofessional that was. I started to cancel my order but my mother insisted on Shane’s

I do not like the the exchange of the money and or do I care for how she pushed the money towards me as if yes I laid it on the counter now pick it up

My fiancé and I arrived into the Perry location at 7:30pm (they close at 9)for dinner. The store was what seemed to be completely cleaned, no employees at the counter, sweet tea cannisters all emptied, and 1 employee was in dining area cleaning. We asked her if business was open to which the female replied yes and took our order. When we received our order, my Mac and cheese was cold. I called over the employee and told her I was sorry but my Mac and cheese was cold. She explained that was their last bowl. I told her that was okay but asked if she could please heat it up to which she replied “we don’t have a microwave. I’m sorry” she didn’t offer any other suggestion and walked away. We are upset because we feel that everything, all food included, was cleaned and put away before we even got here at 7:30. We were made to feel like an inconvienece in a way because we could clearly see all the closing duties of the night were already done. Normally we would understand but we came at 7:30, an hour and a half before closing. There were no other customers in here but us. We felt like we were inconvenience and more than likely received old food. My tenders were hard and Mac and cheese cold. We hate leaving a bad review on a business but we are...
