Wanted to love this but witnessed a major health code violation in their open kitchen while I was waiting on my sandwich to be made and won’t be back.
Apparently it’s one employee’s sole responsibility to wait at the end of the counter and wrap the finished sandwiches in paper, after the cooks hand them to him. But in between sandwich wraps, while waiting for the next one to come his way, this dude leans on the counter and a scrolls on his phone. Then when the next sandwich gets handed to him he just puts his phone down, takes the sandwich with his bare, FILTHY hands (without washing them, using sanitizer or putting on gloves) and wraps the sandwich up!
Please somebody tell this fool that cell phones are 7 times dirtier than a toilet! That fecal matter and e-coli can be found on 1 out of every 6 cell phones. And that anytime you touch your phone disgusting phone (that we all know you look at /touch every day while you’re dropping a deuce on the toilet!) you MUST wash your hands before...
Read moreThis day, I wanted a sandwich so bad, so I stopped by this establishment. I was greeted when I walked through the door. There was only 1 person dining in. I stood looking at the menu for a while, and the guy at the register and another guy standing next to him just sat there waiting. I guess I was expecting a little more customer service. Have you been here before? What do you have a taste for? Nope, none of that! I ordered the Sunset Blvd, and it left more to be desired. It had no flavor, it was just Blah, very bland! The best thing it had going was the bacon! The sesame seed roll should be an option because WHY! The $3 pickle was TERRIBLE, extremely sweet and vinegary (that might not be a word but you get the point). It was 12:30 in the afternoon and claimed they just ran out of potato chips! $17 lunch that I regretted. I ate half the sandwich and took everything else home for my husband to try. We mutually agreed on the bland sandwich and the disgusting pickle. Sorry I...
Read moreCame here for a quick bite before heading to Trader Joe’s as it’s been on my list to check out for a while but was not impressed at all. I had the hot beef brisket Philly “All the way”. The bread was good, felt freshly made but the brisket was as bland as can be. There was no seasoning to it, it was missing a simple ingredient like salt. The oregano mayo was subtle, the banana peppers is what made this sandwich. I felt like they sprinkled on some cheese just to say it’s Philly Style. I’d be lying if I said I’d be back to try another sandwich only because for $20 you would think, you’re getting what...
