(Positive) Long post warning*

Let me start by saying my husband & I are regulars when it comes to foot massages. We try to squeeze at least one session in everywhere we go. So when in Atlanta, we searched for a place near our hotel. Initially they didn't have room for 2 last minute but luckily someone canceled their appt for them to let us in. We didn't expect much going in, just figured it was a typical Chinese foot massage place. When we walked in, we saw a [spanish looking?] man at the front desk and a massage therapist who walked out from the back, also [spanish?] looking. Although I'm used to all different kind of races working at a , let's say massage envy or Hand & Foot massage (which we also go to from time to time, I never see this at a foot massage. So me & my husband looked at each other and kind of [regrettably] doubted the experience. Cesar, (my massage therapist) walked us in almost immediately and had us choose our foot bath scent. We both chose the blue one. I forgot what scent it was but it smelled good. He walked us back and my husband was assigned Liz as his therapist. 5 min into the massage, I immediately knew this was legit. Cesar was so good at what he does. I normally never sleep during massages bc I like to get the best out of the experience but I honestly was right in between. I felt it was probably one of the best foot massage I've ever had and that's saying alot. My husband the other hand is usually the picky one. But to my surprise, when I asked him about Liz he said she was really good too. We both left feeling super refreshed! I was so happy to find out they have a location in Orlando where I live and I will be going soon, so hoping they are the...

about 3 or 4 times my appointments have been cancelled for no apparent reason when I have received the text and responded back with C for confirmation. The mexican guy who sits at the front desk I guess he's the manager is not customer oriented or focus, therefore the business is not either. Whenever my husband and I have managed to get in, the two young ladies who we use all the time and who are no longer there, I really cant blame them, the manager runs a very unprofessional place. We have to drive at least 45 to 50 to the location in midtown on ponce, then the get there and say there's no appt in the system and I had showed to him each time I had an appt on my cell phone, but still he says there's no appt in the system. I had scheduled the last appt back in April before I left the place from my last appt and made sure it was in the system, he did show and verified that it was, then it was send to me via text of the appt the same day which was for yesterday, 7/18. Recv the text to give confirmaiton on 7/17, which I did, the reply stated "thanks for confirming will see you soon" This is terrible service and that person who sits at the desk just argued and showed no compassion or care and did not even offer any solution. TERRIBLE SERVICE, I WILL BLAST THIS LOCATION ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND I EMPLOY ALL OTHERS TO DO THE SAME IF THEY HAVE EXPERIENCE AND CONTACT THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AS WELL TO FILE A COMPLAINT. they should not be allowed to get away with bad service. The "ONE STAR" that I have given, they do not deserve that, they only deserve "0" if it was an option. POOR , POOR SERVICE!! That mexican guy...

I’ve been coming to Heavenly Foot Massage for over 5 years, but after my experience yesterday, I will never return. The customer service, attention to detail, and overall relaxing “spa” atmosphere have severely declined.

Alex was my masseuse, and it was the absolute worst massage I have ever received. I repeatedly told him the pressure was too hard, but he completely ignored me. He was literally digging his fingers into my back while simultaneously popping his knuckles against my skin. I left feeling far worse than when I arrived. His total disregard for my comfort made me want the massage to end as quickly as possible.

He was just as rough on my feet, causing me to jump several times from the pain. Even after I told him multiple times to use less pressure, he nodded but continued to make it worse. I left in severe pain and had to take an ibuprofen 800. If this pain doesn’t subside soon, I’ll be seeing a doctor to get checked out.

To make matters worse, the front desk clerk handled the payment situation unprofessionally. I paid with a gift card, and with Alex sitting right there, the clerk asked if I wanted to leave a tip. Feeling pressured, I said I’d leave $5 and asked for change for a $20. After fumbling around, he managed to scrape up $5, but when I clarified I needed $15 back, he got visibly upset. He handed me the change without even a “thank you.”

As a repeat customer who has referred numerous people to this location, I am extremely disappointed. The service here has become unacceptable. If you’re looking for a quality massage and a place that values your business, spend your...

The other reviews weren’t exaggerating—this place is known for putting people to sleep during massages, but in my case, I was wide awake for all the wrong reasons. I had Alex, and from the moment the massage started, I kept asking him to go softer. Not once, not twice, but several times. Still, he continued with the same heavy-handed pressure that felt more punishing than therapeutic. It wasn’t just firm—it was painful. I found myself tensing up instead of relaxing, just counting down the minutes until it was over. I didn’t come here to grit my teeth through discomfort. I came hoping to unwind, to feel heard, and to leave feeling better than when I walked in. Instead, I left sore and frustrated. What’s most disappointing is that Alex didn’t seem to acknowledge or adjust based on my feedback. I don’t know if he was distracted or just unwilling to adapt, but it made the whole experience feel impersonal and careless. I stuck it out because I didn’t want to make a scene, but honestly, I regret not speaking up more firmly or walking out. A massage should be a dialogue, not a one-way street. Listening matters—and unfortunately, that was completely missing here.

Alex delivered what was, without exaggeration, the worst massage I’ve ever had—and I say that as someone who’s survived a rogue mall massage chair that once tried to rearrange my spine. I politely asked for lighter pressure multiple times, but apparently that translated to “please continue your archaeological dig.” He pressed into my back with such force I started wondering if he was trying to unlock a secret passage to Narnia. And the footwork? Let’s just say it felt less like reflexology and more like someone trying to tune a broken radio using my toes. I left the session feeling like I’d been tenderized for a recipe I didn’t sign up for. If you’re into pain, confusion, and the thrill of being ignored mid-sentence, Alex might be your guy. Otherwise, maybe stick to the mall chair—it at least has an off switch.
