Went to the drive through this morning and ordered a couple meals for my wife and I. After taking it through the window I asked a little hispanic lady if I could have some ketchup and salt. She replied there is no catch up and handed me two packets of salt. I said no ketchup in a mcdonald's she said no ketchup. After leaving the drive through I went into the building and up to the front counter to talk to a manager. A manager named Pat female dressed very slobbingly came to the counter and I told her what happened and immediately she went into excuses. "Probably hasn't been brought up to her." I said mam that's no excuse and that's a bad attitude for a manager of a multi-billion dollar industry store to have when a customer comes with an issue that is easily solvable. I then asked "Is it that she's so lazy that she couldn't have left her area while I was in the window to make sure before making the assumption that there's no ketchup in the building?" Then you want to try to cover yourself and her with a reply that's neither here nor there in helping solve a simple issue?" I'm just never surprised anymore...shame on Human Resources for not vetting properly. Because my integrity has always been the customer is always right and if I accept a job that requires my occasional contact with said customer it would be my ultimate duty to continue business with that individual. I grew up by that McDonald's when it was first put there in the early 1980s and have always gone there no matter that there are 3 others in between my home and there call it loyalty or nostalgia whatever but that's been my place to go. I would suggest Human Resources has a strong conversation with the management on how to react to...
Read moreI am currently sitting at this McDonald's that I come to often. This is the first time in a while I have been here during the evening. I ordered food but hadn't paid for it but an employee proceeded to hand me food yelling out a number in my face that I didn't know was mine. I told her the order wasn't mine & the manager proceeded to ask me about the situation . As I was telling her about it she just had a blank stare granted free food would have been great, I wanted to pay. When I went to pay there is an disabled person that was taking my order. He did not aware me that my code didnt work when I tried to order a second time and followed with an attitude. When my order was up the manager said she didn't have the sauce I asked for and I told her it was okay that I was fine with no sauce the manager then proceeded to the back to grab my water and I the midst of her doing so she tried to whisper "people and their attitudes" how do I have an attitude just because I said I didn't want sauce? If anything I'm upset because of the customer service I received. First shift customer service is great. I'm not sure about your mid shift. They make people not want to come back. I guess I should've just took...
Read moreI went there this afternoon for a beverage and was reminded why I stopped going there a few months ago. It used to be my daily morning routine to stop for breakfast on my way to work, even though it was annoying that the guy at the food window was always brusque and rude as he shoved the food into my car every morning. And then he would be annoyed if I told him my order was wrong, which it often was. I stopped going there when they raised the drink prices AGAIN. At that point I figured I'm not going to pay them more to be treated that way nearly every morning. Today, however, I made a stop there on my way home from work to get a drink for the commute. I pulled up to the speaker as they were finishing an order with another car at the other speaker. A voice came on and asked if I was using the mobile app but then didn't take my order. Instead they took the order of the second car in the other lane. As that car pulled forward they STILL DID NOT TAKE MY ORDER and instead proceeded to take the order from the other lane again. At that point I drove away. There's two more McD's on my way home, and I chose to go to one of those - better service, better treatment, and cheaper...
