Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe - Auburn — Restaurant in Auburn

Ordered for curbside and got a “ready” time. Arrived and tapped “here” on the email confirmation. 30 minutes later, no food, no call, no email. Called the number on the curbside pickup sign and it was never answered. Went in to see if I could get it myself. To-go desk was surrounded by at least 15 unmasked college students no social distancing. I saw NO curbside deliveries made during the 30 minutes I waited. Got no updates from inside even though they had my email address and phone number. This was a prepaid order that I have to spend time getting reversed. If they didn’t have curbside delivery, they shouldn’t offer it on their website, or have signs in the parking lot. And maybe someone should answer the phone. Would not recommend this restaurant due to extremely poor service and inaccurate advertising.

Food is good when they get it right. Most of the employees including customer facing ones have ear buds in and seem more concerned with their music or phone call than listening and paying attention to you when placing your order. Aside from providing the impression that you’re inconveniencing them for being there with their cold demeanor and ear buds, they miss key details such as a modifications like no tomatoes or no cheese. While that may not seem like a big deal to them, many people have food allergies or strong preferences in how they like their food and isn’t unreasonable. I know FIRST HAND that the labor market in this industry is tough for employers right now, but this is just shameful in my opinion. This review goes in tandem with Pita Pit Taziki's has some of the most amazing Gyros I've ever tasted but their tzatziki sauce leaves much to be desired my suggestion just to go buy a gyro and get extra tzatziki sauce from Pita Pit and then go right over to Taziki's an order some of them Gyros off the skewer and let me be clear their tzatziki sauce wasn't bad at all it just had a lot of shaved cucumber in it that was like Pulp and orange juice and I like a much creamier tzatziki sauce( I have to edit this to say that I love your response to my review and the more I think about it maybe that's just my personal taste maybe somebody will really really like a thicker harder tzatziki, it wasn't bad at all it just wasn't what I was expecting and I bet you if I tried it a few more times I could grow...
