My friend and I visited this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. However, we were ignored for more than half of the time we were there. At least 3 different groups showed up after us and we’re we all tended to and served before us. And when we asked to not be charged for a nasty dish the manager and our server proceeded to strong arm and dismiss our complaint, being told that they cannot do that here and that and that we still need to pay for the dish that tasted nothing like it was suppose to. The food was not flavorful at all, very much dry. If you’re black and and want to have friendly, timely, respectful or tasteful service, do not go here. My friend and I were blatantly addressed in a manner than no costumer wants to be spoken to. I recently visited the restaurant for a birthday dinner with a party of 16, and unfortunately, the experience fell short. It took about 30 minutes just to receive our drinks, and we weren’t able to place our food orders until after they arrived. From there, it was an additional hour and 15 minutes before any food was served. When the food finally arrived, much of it was greasy and unappetizing. While I understand that accommodating a larger group can be challenging, the long delays for both drinks and food are unacceptable. probably the best beans and rice i’ve had in auburn since moving here. the cheese enchiladas are v good too but i don’t think i should have gotten salsa verde with them lol. some things just do not go together and that’s okay, esp since it was still a very good meal! also cheaper than expected. it was only around $13 for the chips and dinner combined. salsa is pretty alright too. i think it’s extremely difficult to not find it satisfactory, what you see/read is what you get. i’m excited to try more from here now that the experimental one is...
