One day, craving a quick meal, I decided to stop by Wendy's. Expecting a hassle-free experience, I placed my order with clear instructions and specific preferences. Unfortunately, what followed were repeated instances of wrong orders that turned what should have been an enjoyable meal into a frustrating saga.
To my disappointment, upon receiving my first incorrect order, I realized that the staff had failed to include a crucial item that I had specifically requested. Understanding that mistakes happen, I politely approached the counter to alert them of the issue and requested a correction.
Rather than rectifying the situation promptly, the staff seemed unconcerned and provided a lackluster response. Instead of acknowledging their mistake and taking immediate action to correct it, they appeared indifferent and unapologetic. This lack of accountability only amplified my frustration, as I felt my concerns were not being heard.
Regrettably, this pattern persisted in subsequent visits as well. Despite making my preferences explicitly clear, my orders were consistently filled incorrectly, with missing items or substitutions that I had explicitly asked to avoid. It seemed that there was a disconnect between the staff and the importance of getting the order right.
One day I was there and do mobile order the food I want and when I’m inside, I meet an other customer and I bet with him they will mess up my order and I’m right and that customer laughing. That’s tell me how bad the employee pay attention to detail was.
Each time I visited Wendy's during this period, I not only had to deal with the disappointment of receiving the wrong order, but also faced a frustrating cycle of having to revisit the counter, explain the issue, and wait for a correction. This not only wasted my time but also left a sour taste in my mouth.
As a customer, it is disheartening to encounter repeated mistakes and a lack of concern for quality and accuracy. Wendy's is known for its reputation as a fast-food chain, but this experience left me questioning their commitment to customer satisfaction.

When ordering with a coupon code, make sure you mention what the item is. Otherwise, the order taker asks you to tell her what you want. Then, she would apply the discount at the drive-thru window after giving her the cutout coupon. It was the Hispanic lady manager I dealt with today while training her employees. Based on what I’ve observed, three of them are learning to ring up the orders at the first window to pass out the food at the second window. The manager was pacing back and forth between the two windows and gave instructions to them in Spanish. It’s good to see that, and I know it's a lot of work for her. So, be sure to do the best you can to help out. I was used to the other way (below), but I’m learning.
The other way: I’m used to just giving the coupon code at the intercom (drive-thru), and then the order taker would enter the code and tell me the items I’m ordering on that code. This place is a bit different because the employees are getting trained to get familiar with the food items and not the code. The manager told me that she’s dealing with 50+ codes, and she doesn’t know what they all are. That’s a lot of coupon codes. Some places ring the non-discounted price if you don’t mention the code first. This place is unique and noted.

Read moreI love Wendy’s I enjoy eating here… for the food. One everytime I go there the workers have an attitude no one greets you with joy. Secondly, lately since I’ve been coming here they have always been forgetting something. I usually use their app to delivery food to me because it’s cheap and they always have offer codes. These last 3 TIMES I have ordered they’ve forgotten something. The first time I didn’t say anything and brushed it aside because mistakes happen. Then second time they forgot my drink I called and the lady just said “oh have someone come in and get it for you” like WHAT?!! Luckily my dasher was so kind to go to the store and buy me a drink. This time I asked my dasher if she could just confirm to make sure they have everything. My food gets here and they forgot a drink AGAIN and a medium fry. I didn’t get any sauces one of my nuggets had a blonde hair in it AND my one fry I did get was half full?!?! No hate to my dasher she may or may not have asked but this is ridiculous luckily I called customer service and got a refund. Honestly I probably won’t every order here on the app unless it’s a small order. Please do better Wendy’s and confirm that everything is in the bag before giving out food.
